@@PBsRetroRestorations Wow! That is above and beyond, kind. Thank you 😊 I appreciate the offer, and I will always have you in my Rolodex, for all things mini diecast 🙂 However, sadly, I still have not been able to get down into our new home's workroom, and get it ready, to start this hobby! Had a terrible set back over the summer. I somehow caused 2 two ligaments grade 3 tears, and a grade 3 tear on the long peroneal tendon, all on my right ankle. Sometime in July. Thought I had twisted it, tried to baby it for a few weeks, the it started hurting worse. I signed up for an appointment with an orthopedist, which took a 3.5 week wait. Sept, I finally see the doctor, and they get an x-ray, don't see any break, so think it's a sprain, and give me a super duper brace, to wear for 3 to 4 weeks, plus ice it, rest, and anti-inflammatories. Wellllllllll, it gets worse, and starts buckling on me. I get another appointment set up for late Oct! She sees me, and says "let's get an MRI". UGH. :( I call around, and find the soonest one, for 2 weeks later :( Mid November MRI DONE, wait for MRI follow-up with orthopedist, all the while I am caring for a household, and 3 young kids(11,7,4), walking the best I can (hobbling), with an ankle brace, and trying to stay under 5000 steps, when my normal day is usually 14k steps. Tough, stay-at-home dad, days were upon me through the holidays. Finally, I was able to see the doctor, the 1st week of December. Doctor walks in and starts rambling off problems, she doesn't even say "hi, how are ya". She says "Well, your ankle is a mess. You've got 2 completely torn through ligaments, a completely torn peroneal tendon, 4 large ganglion cysts, a large lesion, inflammation in your joint and the bone". I sat on the table, and laughed "oh! It's just some bad inflammation, right?" ...the way she talked, quickly, with so much stuff, and that I had been walking, albeit in excruciating pain and it rolling constantly, I thought she must be joking!! "Ummm, No. It is actually, one of the worst I have seen in quite awhile. You have 2 torn ligaments, a torn tendon...". My jaw dropped wide open, and I stared in disbelief. We finished talking, and it was concluded that I needed surgery if I wanted to walk normally, and with substantially less pain, again. I had to wait almost 2 more months, for the surgery. I have been unable to drive, since February 7th, and before that, I drove so little because it hurt like heck! Therefore! (Hahahhaha) I have not been in the basement of our new home, we moved into, in June, due to stairs, and my ankle boo-boo! 😆 I think, I might be, your longest, ever (I'm sure you're saying "thank Goodness") comment. I have been lonely, trapped in bed with my ankle propped up, most of each day, since the 7th of February..... I hope you, and those you love, are doing great 👍 - Big Admiration, from your bored and wounded buddy, in Maryland, USA!

@@cpearson7372 that all sounds like weak excuse to me lol. You’re really in the wars aren’t you? Wait times for appointments for even basic consultations are mental here too, and the obvious effect is less folk bothering about their health, and having to wait so long what was a minor ailment gets exacerbated into something worse. Hope you improve soon and are able to get to the bench soon. And yes longest comment of all time, and that’s all good.

"Emm-Bee-Gee-Tee-Bee-whatever" XD looks more like buttercup. but it's a lovely colour, also great work on picking everything apart without breaking it, and the decals look superb! :D bet everyone thought that rear glass would shatter... you really earned your bragging rights there. ^^ seeinf all these parts and the doors and rear lid opening... yesterday I went to a classic car fair here, and sat and sunday are usualyl full of toy car dealers. and talkign to one we had it about modern models having nothing like functioning parts. no doors open, no bonnet lifts, and you're lucky they left open the driver side window so you could see the dash details. even more, JB aston martin, batmobile, all those TV and cinema vehicles... you just can't buy that anymore. I think they concentrate too much on grown-up collectors and forget about the kids carrying their fave everywhere until it doesn't roll anymore like we did as kids.the times of play value are over...
@PBsRetroRestorations

Thank You. I suspect most kids aren't excited by little cars as much as they used to be. And yeah the only ones with opening features tend to be premium collectible models that folk don't play with anyway.

@@PBsRetroRestorations I'd say so, yeah. Here the current SIKUs go for almost 3 euros a piece (average HW or MB go for 1.50-1.70€), some like the supercars aren't even named, maybe to save on license costs? those with opening doors or bonnets go for twice that price tag. and the trucks and lorries have barely any functions left at all.with a price tag like that you'd think twice before you let your kids hit the sandbox with them... maybe which is why the cheapo almost-models are still popular here, a set of 25 cars go for under 12 euros if not less. and kids don't care much if they are 100% accurate; that seems to come later, anyway. but I concentrate on old things, anyway, current wares I can still buy later. :P this saturday I went to a classic car fair here, and went for the model car dealers, and found a few gems. gems for me, anyway, like a Fiat Ritmo made by Hot Wheels france...
