Thank you. So far the sessions have gone well with just a few minor track and engine issues that I can take care of between sessions. Which only helps the railroad run better and makes the Op Session more enjoyable for the crew members that can attend. Have a great Thanksgiving! ~Tony

Great video Tony. Enjoyed seeing all enjoying your creative endeavors. Great to see Michael's foreign Q SD7 lashup; just being a bit biased. Hope can investigate the NCE Controller issue with satisfaction.

Hello! Yes, Michael's CB&Q SD-7s were a hit. He did a great job bringing the factory setting volume down to a more realistic level. They are beautiful engines and run well. I'm hoping over the Thanksgiving Break from school I can look a little more into the NCE antenna issue I had. If it was just the batteries in the throttles I can live with that as batteries are easy to replace. However, if it is something more.... then I would rather frontend the problem so it does not happen again. I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving. ~Tony

Happy Thanksgiving! I have to say, Corn Country Rails videos always seem too short to me. The context you provide by establishing the situation before and after the session is not only useful for what is going on, it is also very interesting in and of itself. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for your comments regarding the Op Session videos, I appreciate it. I figure the introduction prior to the session and the conclusion afterward might help the viewer as to what is going on. I hope you will keep watching. Have a great Thanksgiving! ~Tony

Great video. I have to ask. How many of your operators do N Scale at their homes?
@CornCountryRails

Of the six regular crew members 3 of them are N scale modelers and the other three model in HO. However, over the years a few of my HO crew members have bought some N scale power and cars to run on my layout. Happy Holidays to you! ~ Tony

Always look forward to your operation session videos Tony. So enjoyable to see your great model railroad come to life. How many trains run during your sessions and how long do the sessions run? Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Scott
@CornCountryRails

Hello, Scott! The crew usually starts showing up at about 12:30 to set up trains and ask questions. By 1:00 we are usually running trains and try to wrap up our session by 4:00 PM. That is usually enough time for all of us. During a typical session, we can get anywhere from 10 to 14 trains run through our schedule depending on the number of operators that can attend. A good number of operators for my layout is 6 to 8 people. Have a great Thanksgiving! ~Tony.

Not sure if you video program' has Audio Ducking in it. But it would be nice if you bring up your voice a few db over the background music and maybe drop the background audio just a few db. This way your commentary is not competing with the background music. This was in the open monolog, looks like later in the video you have audio ducking on.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm always worried about that as many times when I'm editing the videos on my computer the volume setting does not also transfer over to KZitem the same way. It's kind of frustrating, to say the least. Thanks again. Tony

Aaahhh, that must have been a scary moment when at the beginning of the session the control system becomes unresponsive. Luckily you found the problem and solved it, hopefully it is one of those never to be seen again problems and not the harbinger of something more problematic. You noted that trains did not finish in the previous session and 1 in this session. How do you handle crewing those trains? If the same crew member(s) shows up next time they get to finish the run or do you pretend the previous crew ran out of working hours and a relief crew has to take over? Anyway, your layout and videos are one of my favourites to watch. Happy holiday season to you and your family.

Oh yes, I was a little worried when the radio throttles were not responding but I think I have that corrected. When the time runs out in one session and trains are still out on the line another crew (old from last session or new crew) will finish the work. However, another new train will also be made up in advance to help keep car moving during the new session. So the could be a Train #84 from November and a new Train #84 for a December session. Thanks for watching and Happy Holidays to you as well! ~Tony
