Hello Mike, Yes, it was great to get the railroad up and running after a year off from Op Sessions. A few minor items to take care of before the November session. Thanks, Tony

With not having an Op Session for over a year I thought I better pull out my full arsenal of track clean equipment. Some of the clean cars are great, others not so. much. ~Tony

8:38 "I'm going to mute you guys out" Do not do that, half the fun of watching an Operations video is the people talking about what they are doing. Makes us YT viewers feel like we are participating on the layout too.

Ah, those locomotives in the early scheme, they always get to me, a diehard M&StL fan. The prettiest of the bunch are the yardswitchers in Grinnell, even beating those M&StL geeps.

That's a fantastic-looking layout! Question: did you make the double piggy-back loads in lower staging (around 16:40)? If so, what combination of trailer/flatcar did you use? I have a bunch of Atlas CNW piggyback flatcars, but they are single trailer loads. I'm in the process of moving, but I will be building a CNW Iowa Division (Clinton to Cedar Rapids) layout in N once I get settled in and rebuild. I think your channel will be a great source of inspiration (subscribed) as I move forward.

Those double piggy-back loads are Atlas cars. I took off the plastic decking and replaced it with wood laser-cut decking and then adhered the trailers back onto the flatcars. If I can help mentor you in any way as you are starting your layout please let me know. Thanks, Tony

I really enjoyed your video. I am curious as to what the width of you aisle is and if you find it wide enough?
@CornCountryRails

My aisles are 36" wide with the pinch-point in one area going down to 29". It seems to work out well during Op Sessions and I like it better than the 24" aisle that my old layout had. ~Tony

Thank you. I use alcohol in my CMX Track Cleaning Car. Is does a great job and does not harm the rail or scenery. ~Tony
