This tutorial is based around using 'shop bought' pastry, to make this family sized pie - it's a tutorial aimed towards the beginner, but equally anyone trying to work out what they can make to while away those lazy days.
You'll need:
For the filling:
6 - 7 Medium Sized Potatoes (I used Maris Pipers)
500g of Corned Beef
60g - 100g of butter
3 - 4 tbsp of Milk
and a good dash of salt and white pepper.
Using the shop bought pastry, cover the base and top of the pie with it - brush on egg wash to give it, that golden brown colour during cooking. Place in a pre-heated oven for around 40 mins on 200c or 180c if fan assisted/356f - Gas Mark 6. Eat it hot or is wonderful cold - it will serve minimum of 6 healthy portions plus a couple more for the next day.
