I have been a fan of lightweight yarns since day one! I find that working with lace to DK yarns cause way less stress on my body. First, I fell in love with sock yarn because of the color ways. Then I found a pattern for fingerless lace mitts (by Red Heart) and I made about 40 pairs in every color I could find. Another fine teaching video. Will definitely be making this scarf with yarn from my stash. Thanks!!!

Easy enough, I really like working in spaces no fussing around working into stitches ❤

I am afraid of thin yarns and was hesitant to try this pattern. But I bought the kit bc the scarf is so beautiful!! This will be the thinnest yarn I have ever used.😅

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I will be frogging my current project for this one. I wasn't feeling it and starting searching and you popped up. I had been thinking of C2C but knew the traditional way wasn't it.

This isn’t a traditional corner-to-corner; it looks to me like a granny block stitch worked CTC. It’s a dense stitch which might not drape well in a heavier yarn, and you do want your shawl to drape nicely, which I think, from what I saw in the video, this one will. Changing the dimensions would be easy, too: just keep adding rows past the point where the pattern stops, or crochet fewer rows than stipulated in the pattern. If you increase on only one side, you could end up with an asymmetrical triangle shawl. Nice project, T!

Had to tear back a bit when I realized I'd gone from an odd number of clusters in each row to an even number. Missed a cluster along the way. But now I'm back on track

Do this ALL the time! I hate counting every row or round, but it’s the only way I know to keep it consistent.😢

I have tons of orphaned sock yarn and this looks like the perfect way to use them up. But my project is curling like crazy, even a steam block hasn’t really helped. Any advice (I am sized up on the hook and even added a treble crochet to the last decrease stitch.)

This LB yarn was right up my alley. It's gorgeous! However I returned mine after swatching one skein. Could not get through the first row without it barfing into the worst tangles I've ever encountered. Took over an hour to detangle and wind into a ball. Not worth the frustration.

Yikes! Sounds like a bad skein. I definitely had some tangles but not that bad. I wonder if it's been handles a lot from being at the store?

@@TLYarnCrafts Very good observation. I'm sure that was a factor with mine. I also checked Ravelry and found others had similar experiences. Unfortunate. Still, your lovely scarf design is worth making in a similar yarn.
