Hi friends, I hope you enjoy the video. Sorry, if you left a comment and it vanished. I had to re upload the video. 😅 This is a super fun stitch that's perfect for baby blankets and scarves. The stitch is very similar to the wattle stitch and can be used for this pattern as well ! See more about that in the description box if you're interested. xx

I'm guessing this wouldn't be practical for an adult xl single blanket . I need a pattern that is easy and not a yarn eater for that.

It is similar to the wattle stitch, but I can make two dishcloths out of one skein with the wattle stitch and only one with the suzette stitch.

Another fabulous fantastic clip. Thankyou. Always thoroughly enjoy each one. So very clear and helpful. Cheers from Western Australia. Side note .. I too have an inquisitive snuggly cuddly kitty. She's got it down to a fine art of knowing when it's the best moments for a snack or cuppa break, stretch and even a bit of an outside walk about. Thank goodness for our fluffy friends. ✌🏻🩷🌷🌿

Hello Roz and happy Monday to you and Biscuit. I love this stitch . You are so right its great for dishcloths and lots more projects . I could see this pattern done on a throw cushion . Another great tutorial ❤❤❤❤❤ . Love seeing Biscuit as alwsys . Would love to see more of loki , but i think the name is fitting ; because he is very LOWKEYED . Have a blessed day and week ahead .

You know what’s funny? I named him Loki because he was such a trickster as a baby and he reminded me of the Marvel villain . But you’re absolutely right - he has turned into LOW KEY instead 😂😂😂 He sleeps through the filming most of the time but hopefully he’ll decide to hang out at some point 😆💕 Have a great week ❤️

I love your videos and I have learned so much from them! I do have an off the wall question! I was wondering which is the best crochet yarn to make a baby blanket. I would love your suggestion. Thank you Kathy Bennett
@PlayHookywithMe
3 ай бұрын
That’s a tough one but I would say to be safe , use an acrylic yarn. If you’re against using man made yarns, then cotton is the next best . I say this to help avoid allergen issues. Wool is lovely but can be scratchy and cause allergic reactions since it’s an animal product. I also recommend acrylic since usually washer and dryer safe. But always read the yarn label to confirm. I’d suggest a weight 4 (worsted yarn) or a weight 3 (sport) . These aren’t too heavy or too light which is a comfortable weight for baby blankets . Hope that helps 🧶❤️

@PlayHookywithMe

Thank you 💕 Yes, I’d recommend a border. It could be something as simple as just a couple of rounds of single crochets. That would be pretty. Here’s a video where I share some easy favorites: My 5 Favorite Borders That Work For Almost Any Project 🤩 kzitem.info/news/bejne/q6mhroZmm2qZeHo

Would a chain of 2 stitches alleviate the hole that the chain 3 stitches makes?
@PlayHookywithMe
3 ай бұрын
Very possibly but you might find it pulls a bit tight . Hopefully not- I was using a cotton yarn and needed that extra chain. You could also try a stacked single crochet to help omit the gap 💕 kzitem.info/news/bejne/yomI1aKijGRhhmksi=i5IRUHvmxfKO5wIl

I didn’t think it was but someone mentioned on my pinned comment that she can make 2 dish cloths with the wattle stitch compared to 1 with the Suzette . So i guess it could be based on that ?
