Thanks ever so much Andy! It's music to my ears to hear you have an interest in what we do, it really is! I think I can extend my thanks from everyone who works in agriculture too! We get a lot of negative press in the media, and I'd love to be able to show people what we actually do, rather than the fake stories that are always circulating on social media. Really do appreciate your comment my friend. Look after yourself, All the best Jonny :)

Looking forward to any combining vids you may do, I allways wanted to be a combine driver but got stuck with a bloody mucky owd baler !. 30 years this year on balers lol, only ever driven a combine once a Clayson 1540 and used it more like a bulldozer. None of your mod cons on one of them !. Catch ya soon fella !.

Now then fella! How we doing? 😀 I think the GPS side of farming is a bit like marmite, either love it or hate it. I'm lucky to be in the crossover generation, I learnt to do everything by eye without huge amounts of technology, but I'm now at that stage where I've got to embrace the technology and move forward with it. It's nice having my 1952 fordson major sat in the garage to take me back to a simpler time. Combining is something I haven't done much of either really, Im only a relief/cover driver when the regular chap isn't at work, so I've never really been able to get my teeth stuck into the job. 30 year baling, I bet you've cursed a lot of combine drivers over the years!! Have you ever do anything with organic straw before?

I sometimes switch between a 4 and 5 metre drill and the gfx 750 adjusts the headland guidance pattern automatically. Never tried it with just an ab line though but you can just remark your line on the run screen. Think it's the bottom box on the right hand side. Edit: finally watched the end of the video! now i see why you shift the line instead of remark. Recording a headland/boundary with an ab will get the same result but without having to switch guidance lines all the time, with the inner field on the ab line and the outer on the headland line. Still do corners manually though as it sends you on some wicked tracks when left to its own device 😂😂

@@Jonny1388 how are the interiors in the Kubotas? I know the engines are very reliable but I ran a new one I think it was about a 2000 model and can't remember the model number but around 60 HP and it was very disappointing. The cab and interior especially was very cheaply made !! Just unbelievably chinsy! Fisher Price tractor would be a good comparison lol. The AC was a Red Dot unit mounted on the roof almost like it was an afterthought. Not to mention the wheelbase was so short , lengthwise but especially the width and then add on a full cab and it looked like it was unstable as all hell. And it truly was , not just looked it.
