The transitional period between winter and spring is widely considered the most challenging time of year for sea anglers. With water temperatures at their lowest and a large portion of fish in deeper waters the prospects for the shore angler are slim however you just never know what will turn up. This session takes place on a relaxed estuary on the south coast of Cornwall, when looking out across the water here you get the feeling that there just has to be fish.
I’m not a particularly avid bait fishermen but it’s a tactic that I must resort to during times such as these. There is something quite therapeutic to it.
Keep your eyes open for the next one.
