booboobrinn so true as someone who suffers from and fully diagnosed with severe CPTSD (the highest level and worse kind of PTSD that anyone can be diagnosed with.) or PTSS as some doctors and specialists are now starting to call it and chronic anxiety, it really pisses me off when shows and movies have someone diagnosed with it and all of a sudden it’s like a Christmas miracle they are completely cured for the rest of their lives!?! If only there was a cure. It’s like they can’t be bothered to do proper research or speak with actual people suffering with the different levels of these god awful life crippling illnesses! When he was doing this storyline he had some great scenes where he actually seemed like he had PTSD like when he left the girls on the bus and the camera showed from his point of view the feeling of everything closing in on you, sweating the feeling like you’re dying from a heart attack struggling to breathe as the panic starts to completely take over that scene out of all of them he had was very believable acting but a lot of the others was just wrong and not believable at all then all of a sudden he’s cured and doesn’t have the illnesses anymore was just shocking and I really hate it when they don’t portray mental illnesses properly how are people who are either confused about what’s wrong with them or other people are worried about someone they know meant to seek help if they either want to or not when they’re being shown a lot of incorrect symptoms etc... it’s just wrong and not helpful at all! Sorry for ranting on your post hun, it just winds me up so much that soaps, shows and movies can’t write proper PTSD and anxiety storylines. If they did it properly they could help so many people that’s scared and confused! X
