I hate small talk so much, when i see somebody in the hall or elevator at work I just hope they didn't see me as well and pretend to be busy incase they do see me. 🤷

I thought the same when I saw that! Legit!! Lol, when I was a teen I used to have a personal rule that after seeing somebody around at a store or somewhere once, and saying the hi and bye, I wasn't allowed to come across them again for the rest of the time. I would avoid it and get so stressed out. Now, I've found it better to just embrace it. "HULLO AGAIN!!" 😂

@@jim_rivera777 Our office has mad respect for the janitors, I love it. We clean up after ourselves, everything from spills to potlucks and even carpet stains. If someone spills coffee in a carpeted area they'll straight up grab the carpet cleaner from the closet and steam clean it 😂 we even have a sign in the kitchen that says "There are no maids here, clean up after yourself" 😂

Let's not forget the awkward silence when the conference call host asks "Any other questions before we end this call?"....what seems like an extremely long 60 seconds of noone saying anything and as soon as the host says "Well, thank you for joining ...." and everyone all of a sudden wakes from their trance and all say "Bye" and hang up at the same time while host is still talking. ive been in these calls countless times and it's the worst. The person giving the talk should say "does anyone have any questions regarding x or how y works?", but they keep it so vague and open ended that no one wants to ask anything.

First and second week at work, i couldn't even operate photocopy machine and fax right. My best record is probably 2 cups of coffee, but my stomach is sensitive anyway. Sometimes they say “hi Kim” and I cant see who it is (for a variety of reasons glare/sun/glasses) and so I give a “generic hello”. Then as we get closer I can give a “Oh Hey Bob!” Or if it’s someone I don’t like.., give a “hi Bob” In mono tone.
