@@hisnameisAkin The body does rot and decompose, but mold spores will sometimes grow and attach to the body if the mold is already growing nearby, or if the spores are close enough. Mold doesn't really care what it grows on.

What I do is if I find second hand dolls & they’re first wave or have their clothes I won’t customize but if they’re nude I’ll customize. Just something that makes me feel better lol

most of my base dolls were new in box, it's pretty difficult to find secondhand mh/eah dolls here but most of the dolls were produced in indonesia, where i live, so i guess that's why there were many leftovers here? i'm not sure though

Aw, I wish you had given him a full shadow around the eyes. Not only would the blue shadow make his eyes look more sunken in, but also a little more dead than just blue.

You did such an amazing job 👏😻 and I wanted to let you know about a really cool sculpting material called Sugru. It's an air dry rubber that is strong and automatically glues itself to most any surface. I learned about it through MandaPanda because she uses it for a lot of her customs. I wanted to tell you about it because it's such a versatile material that I noticed not a lot of people use. It can be used for hands, accessories, shoes, and more.

As a nonbinary person I think you can make a nonbinary character more masculine /feminine presenting while keeping them nonbinary. Nonbinary is very fluid and we can look and act like pretty much anything

that’s the thing isn’t it? nonbinary people can present themselves as feminine/masculine so to be honest of we just swap that quality i personally think that’d just insist the binary gender attributes. that’s why i asked if nonbinary can be genderbent haha

I've also heard of people switching characters who present with minimal gender (kind of androgynous) to maximum gender (kind of like drag does), though that could be difficult to balance with keeping the character's personality.

He looks so cool, you really nailed the attractive look while still keeping him a little eerie, and the bone parts in particular look extremely good! For your question at the beginning, I'd say you can take a binary gendered character and make them non-binary or vice-versa and still call it a gender-bend, but I do really only ever see people go from one binary gender to another with the concept 🤷♀️ Fantastic doll! I've been really excited to see the process for this one, your body mods are always fascinating to watch

jackson jeckyll is not so rare, i think Holt Hyde is more difficult to find. anyway! i always love to see your doll mods, this one is no exception. you did good mixing two mh dolls for that project : i've been looking for 12 inches skelettons everywhere last Halloween, and it was a tough quest. the ones i finally bought were barely jointed.

I actually ran into the same problem when I was drawing Genderbent version of G3 monster high main 3 + Lagoona, when I was drawing Frankie, I was like “Wait, Frankie is non-binary, how would that work?” I decided to make them masculine presenting since all of their dolls are femme presenting.

'is it possible to genderbend a nonbinary character?' in fandoms that i've been in, trans people have suggested 'cis swap', because 'genderbend' as a concept is very binary. it never really caught on as a name, though, which is a shame because i think 'cis swap' is more fun as a name. genderbending is just a hobby when you're trans (/jk).

i dyed the head just as a tester to see if the dye was ready or not, painting the vinyl heads works just fine to change the head's color
