Thank you so much for this app! These kinds of graphs were exactly I was hoping to make. I have one feedback though: it would have been even better if it was possible to have more color options than red and blue. But thanks a ton anyway!

thanks, and you made my day. finally learned how to use and make corelation. but I am still one step ahead, how we will write the results from the graph for large number of variables that which parameter is good and which one is bad. thanks

not sure what you mean by 'good' and 'bad' parameters. Do you have a reference variable to compare with? The plot just displays the correlation between variables. To identify variable pairs with strong correlation, check the p-value (if it is less than 0.05).

@@TheOriginlab thanks, I mean, for example, I have ten parameters and want to know the correlations, then how I will write the results from the correlations figure in my manuscript. As i have make colrealtions for antioxidants and metabolites and some physiological parameters. so how to write the results as like we write from tables and figures...

@@learnandexplore1562 Upon generating the correlation plot, another resulting sheet will be created alongside your source data sheet, named 'CorrPlotData' where you can find a table of the correlation coefficients.

I just mean the variables on left and below how they correlate, as the plot you mentioned has more than 10 variables, so you have not discussed how they correlate with each other. anyhow thanks for your response and timing

How to know which type of correlation matrix the originlab is plotting? is it pearson or spearman correlation? ?
@mynehc

In the app dialog, you can choose which correlation type, pearson or spearman.

Thank you very much. I have one more confusion. Can we plot the correlation of to two variable while using time period as X-axis and Time scale as Y-axis. So that we can understand the correlation of the two variable for a particular year and time scale. (for instance, Drought propagation)

Hello , thank you for your question. Time Series data is not suitable for correlation plot. Time series data has auto-correlation. There are certain statistical method to address that issue. Correlation plot usually assumes data points to be independently distributed.

@@TheOriginlab Thanks for the response. Where can I learn that statistical method and what is it? in case if you have any solution.

Hi Naeem, Yes it is an "app" so it needs to be added to the software. When you open Origin, on the right side there is the "Apps" tab. Please open this and you click "Add Apps". Then you can search and download the Correlation Plot App, from within Origin.
