Upgraded from a Deepcool CC560, needed a bit more headroom for my AIO. Massive improvements. Only wish there were more USB-C slots in front, but solid case.

Good reviews for what I am looking for. All angle on the case and the fan much better than most of popular media introducing the products

I have a question about fans, Did you connect all the fans in series and to the same socket?
@KoolPCs
27 күн бұрын
I connected them in 3’s so used 3 PWM headers on the motherboard.
@sunsho9552

@@KoolPCs Thanks, but wouldn't it be easier to connect them all in series and then on a single header? Or is that not possible?
@KoolPCs
26 күн бұрын
Easier yes, however 2 reasons you may not want to do that: 1. You may want to run the sets of fans at different speeds. In my example build, I’m running 4 intakes and 3 exhaust, therefore I would want to balance the airflow appropriately. 2. This is the most important consideration, PWM headers have a power rating. My headers support up to 1A, and the RS fans are rated to draw 0.18 A, so I would only be able to get a max of 5 fans pers header.

Is the tempared glass fragile like the general budget cases we see on local shops?. Any chance of it getting shattered with a small force?

is putting two fans by the psu shroud worth it? and im debating adding a 140 on the bottom
@SS20092
3 ай бұрын
The gap between the psu and the fan on the bottom would be minimal so you should put a 140
@KoolPCs
3 ай бұрын
Personally I don’t think it’s worth it. There is very little gap between the PSU and the shroud for air. 140 at the bottom is a better option. I will be putting a 140 in once it’s release. Check my latest Reddit post where I have put a custom loop in the 3500x

@@KoolPCsyea I got a 140 for the bottom too when my case gets here. i was only thinking to add those two so complete the 10 fans. I would like to see your test with those fans on the psu shroud if you thought of doing that?

Can you show how you connected the fans, I can get them to turn on but no RGB?
@KoolPCs

Which fans do you have? These are the RS fans. They connect to each other then finally into the motherboard. You then need to use your motherboard’s RGB software to control them.

is it possible to remove the feet?
@KoolPCs

Yeah the feet are removable, but the case would then be sitting on the dust filter. If you invert the PSU so it intakes from the case and don’t use the bottom intake fan then you can remove the feet and dust filter.

Just the video I was looking for. How are the fans? Sounds like they may be kind of loud when turned up. They don't require icue and can't be controlled (with icue) unless using the separate Corsair commander/controller thing but are there abilities to change the rgb in the motherboard settings? Thanks!
@KoolPCs
Ай бұрын
I’m really impressed by the performance of the fans. I have since purchased a 140mm for the bottom intake and moved the 120mm that was there to the back. I have also installed a custom loop (check my shorts or Reddit posts). Correct they can be motherboard controlled for both PWM and RGB but I have switched to a commander pro since switching to watercooling as it’s a lot easier setting fan curves to coolant temp using iCue.

RS fans are plugged into the motherboard so iCue won’t see them. You need to use motherboards RGB software

I have the 5000x and intend to switch to the 3500x. I just need to buy new fans with iCUE LINK because mine are wired, and I believe there's not enough space on the side.

Currently looking forward to buying this case. However, I'm just a bit confused on how good the airflow is. How high does the temps goes underload with your build ?
@KoolPCs

Temps were great in this air cooled build, but the RS120 fans no doubt played a part in that. I have watercooled it now (check my shorts) and am super impressed with the temps. Coolant maxes to around 37° and it’s totally silent.

The 570 is a lovely case, but the 3500x will likely give much better airflow. Depends on your needs really.
