Hi. I have a recommendation. Maybe in the sound test of the stabilizers you can press it harder and press across the keycap so we can hear how much rattle the stabilizers have? Thanks!

Great video, I just bought the k70 tkl and noticed that my board has really bad ping to every key stroke. I could hear the metal springy feed back to every key press and was wondering if you had this issue with your board as well? I read that it’s pretty common with high rise key boards :o

Been using the k70tkl for many months now and the pinging really got to me after many gaming and typing sessions. One tip i tried was to use double o-rings in each key. It reduced the loud pings and felt a little more comfortable to type on but really wished the board had dampeners. Hope it helps!

We found ours to be quiet overall. You can watch the video we took of it here: www.rtings.com/keyboard/reviews/corsair/k70-rgb-tkl#comparison_3408

Had one of these where the space and other keys died prematurely after a year's worth of moderate use. The cables in the box had breaks in them from new. I cannot recommend this thing.

Corsair's software is famously incompetent. Really hilariously bad. Because software is important for these keyboards, that alone is reason enough to avoid them.

This is a fantastic TKL keyboard, arguably the best, BUT it uses iCUE software and I refuse to install that rubbish on any of my computer ever again - keeps me from buying any Corsair product that makes use of iCUE.

Is it that bad? At least you don't have to register like the synapse tho

Good thing is that you don't need it for a useable keyboard, not in the background anyway if you set an onboard profile with onboard macros. I can say iCue has been much improved since version 3 though for me, it's more reliable.

@@rbunpat running it for the first time caused my windows mouse sensitivity to change to 11/11 and it enabled "enhance pointer precision" automatically. It also caused USB disconnect issues on my Z690 Asus motherboard - uninstalling iCUE solved that. On my old PC (Z490, 10700K) it caused very high CPU usage. I also encountered the USB disconnect issues with iCUE before that on an Asus Z170, 6700K PC when I bought the K70 keyboard. These days I only use driverless pheripherals like Zowie mice, DACs, etc.

Bit surprised they didn't release a OPX switch version of that. I'm sure there would be demand for an optomechanical keyboard for the smoothness of the travel alone. I'd be interest in an OPX version of the K90, given a standardised bottom row too. Even if it'll make the K100 pointless for most people :P

They did actually release a version of that keyboard with opx switches go check it out in their website
