Wow, the software is pretty powerful. Thank you so much for the extensive review! :)

Thanks for the vid! I missed two crucial pieces of information tho. 1. How convenient is it to swap off-board profiles? Would I have to enter the client, or can it be done from the system tray? 2. Do you have to log in with your software client to Corsair servers to access the full functionality of your mouse (like with Razor)?

was really hoping you'd look at the hardware key assignment but you skipped it completely?

It seems I have to connect my mouse via USB for iCUE to recognize and change its settings. If I connect wirelessly, it doesn't show up in the software at all. Either way there are no "Hardware ..." settings. I turned all the lighting to static, but when I remove the USB cable, the dang mouse starts blinking and flashing even when my computer is off. This is really frustrating.

there used to be 2 dpi toggle buttons, I used for forward and back navigation in browsers and binds in games, why the fuck would they remove one of them, the entire reason I wont buy this, even though ive been usiong scimitar for many years and have gone through atleast 7 of them, I only stay loyal to corsair for its great software.

@@LegionzGG Yup that's the best way to do it, it seems. Im still on like my 8th corsair and the mouse wheel still falling apart, not many games with bhop anymore though(they destroyed bhop in cs2 update), I have to say the wire has been catching on my desk alot lately, I might need to finally give in and get this, the only way to get a mouse unless I buy another used one off ebay. dumb design by corsair, maybe theres a way to install the old buttons onto the new mouse, idk.. It was almost perfect

Never used the icue software. Does it actually work reliably? So much of the software is so horrible like Armory crate, Gigabyte GU software etc. This is a major point of decision for me on if I want a component or not, as poor software can ruin hardware, even one that is an awesome piece.

I managed to add. different profiles to different slots BUT how do they actually get copied on the mouse and where can I switch trough these profiles? The wired mouse had a button above the DPI button to switch profiles?
@Gre4tOne

the button is underneath the mouse. But to copy the profiles on the mouse is a software thing - it worked but I had to configure everything from scratch importing the old settings wont‘t work

I like my Logitech peripherals but G-Hub is trash compared to IQue

G-Hub is also very prone to crashing like a house of cards. Honestly, I don't get the hate ICue gets. Sure, it eats up *some* (not much) resources, but it's fairly user-friendly, and much better-looking than many competitors.

Is there a way to use shift function like on razer basically getting 24 keys? Like shift+1.

you might try AutoHotKey to make this work. I use it to make my old Perixx MX3100 buttons trigger different hotkeys for different programs.
