Thanks for the video. It all makes sense now. I always wondered why the door panels were not nicely attached to my c3.

Good day. Do you have a video showing how to remove the door panel that has power windows?

Is that rubber cement on the weather stripping? Thank you for the info; you're very good.

Hi Rea - The factory used a type of yellow contact cement and applied it with a brush. On original cars you will find lots of extra glue in the jams where they went a little overboard with the glue. The best adhesive I have found is Weldwood contact cement in a blue can. Apply it with a brush to both the jam where you want the weatherstrip to stick and to the weather strip. Let them flash dry and then stick the weatherstrip to the jam. This is best done with a friend as you need lots of hands to hold everything that is covered with glue and not make a mess. Thank you for watching!

Hi Cameron, this particular corvette was a 1972 and the door panel used as the explanation was from a 1968. They would all be the same from 1968 thru 1978. Thanks for watching

If an owner wants to make further mods they should purchase more OEM clips and make slots along the bottom then screw them in like the front and back ones are. Stop with the Bubba fixes on these great cars.

A factory style clip installed at the front and back is all that is needed. Not necessary to add extra clips for a proper installation
