@Niro Franco Joe Dart is an amazing bassist, but in my opinion Seth's style is more appropriate for that kind of music as Cory's. I don't see the reason of that pointless, boring mentioning of Joe Dart's name thousands of times under the Cory's uplloads. Joe is Vulf's bassist and that is it!

Rarely do songs bring tears for me after 50+ years of learning, studying, playing music.I had not heard "Ellie" before. Perfect representation of a sentiment between Father and child. Beautiful piece.

That's what I said to myself too. But do the sound recordings all come from this live ? I'm not sure. I think that some guitar parts, perhaps more, were recorded afterwards in studio. I think that’s a lot of comping were done on studio. Maybe Coming from several concerts or rehearsals it's absolutely not a straight line of live recording But no matter, the whole thing is fantastic

@@lighteenblind Are you sure about that? Not doubting that but could you show a timestamp where they're different? I do know there is an album release of this concert that is significantly different. Track order changed, definitely remixed and new parts in that.

All jokes aside, Cory would be the best person to get kids into music. Wether it’s rhythm section driven low volume funk with Vulfpeck, his solo work and the newer Cory and the Wongnotes stuff, or this orchestral funk fusion, the energy he brings is just pure joy and love of his craft

Musicians of a certain age, and who play certain instruments and genres sometimes wait a long time to be able to just have fun when they play. It was never really encouraged. Sort of sad really, if you consider that half the classical guys were likely getting sent ot of the classroom for being a pain on a regular basis.😎

He really nailed it. It sounds truly syrupy tits. In my humble opinion, the vocals are occasionally a whisper under, but wholly within the realm of difference-of-taste. I’m really impressed by the soundscape here.

As a musician, I still don't even know how it's possible to put on such an outstanding performance, this is truly one of the best concerts I've ever seen, if not the best. It makes me want to cry with joy! Keep it going Cory and friends. ( massive Vulf fan btw!)

Really hope that you'll make it out for one of Cory's concerts one day! I was at the recording of this specific one and recently at a Theo Katzman and a Vulfpeck show, it's amazing to see them play live. Please do so if you get the chance!! You'll love it!

Metropole Orkest is doing absolutely fantastic job recently. They inviting such a great talents creating new form of art. I really enjoyed Cory Wong, Jacob Collier and phenomenal Cory Henry. What a great entertainment and looking forward after quarantine finish to go and see them live.

"Underground" at 1:03:57 has got to be my favorite tune in this set. I love the whole damn concert, but there's something so special about this song. The simplicity at first, then the rising pulse that once the full weight comes down at 1:06:16 sends chills up my spine every time. The orchestration, the melody, Cody's voice. I could write a dissertation there's so much to appreciate about this song.

For some odd reason Underground is completely missing now? Idk what happened but at 1:03:57 "The way it is" starts playing. Did Cory have to cut it later on? I really like how during Ellie you could really hear and understand the chaos and the peace. He composed this song so well that even with the high chaos coming from strings, the lovely melody of the piano and the rapid tempo of the drums, it managed to fit all together in this beautiful piece, and it sounds so good! The guitar, of course, was amazing too. props.

I knew I would love this. I was surprised my 7 and 13 year old daughters both were mesmerised. They have both started learning guitar and both picked up on Cory's right hand technique. Kinda proud they caught that. Hope to see you in Georgia or Tennessee soon! I missed you last go around.

His whole band is top notch! Saw them live this past year in SF. It was open seating and we were able to snag seats on the balcony directly over them. He is the consummate showman and band leader.

A magic culmination of incredible musicians. This is some of the best new music I've heard in ages. WOW, I know you hate the word but WOW, simply WOW. Love it. Totally agree with Mr Wong, that bringing people together like this is a fantastic aspect of music that's sadly not common enough for my liking and look at the result. Magic, every musician playing in this concert should feel proud, this is superb music.

During the applause I can't help but to remember my childhood in school orchestra. The similarity of parents cheering for their kids against an audience giving a standing ovation. It's just amazing what music has allowed people to feel and achieve.
