Traveling overseas is a great way to raise children; my wife and I used to do the same when our kids were younger, such great memories. Well done to you and your wife! Also, I just love Da Nang...beautiful city and beach, wonderful people, and very easy on the pocketbook. Cheers.

The total you spent 1 day for a family of 4 is equal to 1 meal of 1 person in the US. And then you have to add the stupid tips.

I hear ya! Same in Canada. We’ve had enough of it and now know it doesn’t have to be that way ✌️

@@kaialivetravels and isn’t it a more efficient system? You pay for what you owe. No need to figure the tips, feel guilty, or worry if someone will be offended.

@@snake0911 Well, I can say the service is better when they don’t expect a tip. I met someone over 50 in Finland who remembered fondly the two times he tipped in his life from exceptional service. In my opinion, that’s how it should be.

@@kaialivetravels agreed. I tell people over here how no tipping is a better system, and I always get the “that’s how you get great service”. You can tell these people never left their little small pond.
