This is why people pay big bucks to train with Chris Costa. The principles of marksmanship and weapon manipulation in large part are the same regardless of the instructor. It's Chris' style and intensity of instruction blended with humor that drives the message home. Thank you, Joncalibur for posting. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Stay safe - God bless America!

That's funny because sometimes you do draw down on noises in the brush. But app'ing a dozen UDA's alone is everyday business in the patrol so it's not too intense once you do it a few times.

Funny thing is I have seen this before . However I have noticed or am picking up on other aspects of this video this time . I have recently been studying group dynamics and micro expressions . Which these class videos having not scean them would be a great way of judging t5he group . Picking out who has the dominate personality and who is uncomfortable . I noticed watching this time . That a guy is standing behind Chris with his hands on his hips . Taking up a huge amount of space . While a guy to his right side has his arms folded tightly in meaning he most likely feels out of place or threatened or insecure .

Coast Guard high level CQC operators in the Caribbean do boarding of boats, and that's like, hella tense shit. And since the Coast Guard is sorta law enforcement, there are probably legal reasons Chris cannot say how many times he has discharged his weapon in anger on pain of compromising a case.

Coastguard Law enforcement his entire career. Then after service worked at magpul industries.. made some cool videos with travis haley they became rockstars taught classes etc.. and then all went their separate ways and started their own companies. Travis haley was in combat for sure... Costa as a coastguard cop did some real life world law enforcement stuff yes... But not like Afghanistan combat or Fallujah room clearing. With Marines... More like the story he just told u here type stuff..

I thought he was funny. I'm not a fan of Mr. Costa but I know a thing or two about training people and it is important to keep them engaged with a story like that. My instructor teaches kids self-defense and he can keep their attention by working hard and then playing hard and then back to working hard. I know many adults how need to take a play break during work to keep them from getting bored.
