OMG, I loved it when you put the pie in the Alaska freezer! I literally LOL’d. Heard my Mum say that many times in Scotland. Your boys are so smart, never thought about opening the tins how Bennett said…what an observation although it could see getting cut doing it that way. Happy Birthday to Hunter! Is moose similar to ground beef in flavor or is it more gamey tasting like lamb?
@ThisAlaskaLife
2 жыл бұрын
It is nice to have extra freezer space for a few months! Moose is very similar to beef, just very lean. My next favorites are spring black bear and deer. Mountain goat, Dall sheep, and caribou have more of a distinct gamey flavor sometimes so they are at the bottom of the list for me. Thanks for watching!

I love baking bread in my bread machine! My current bread maker is a Hamilton Beach, but I've also owned various other brands over the last couple of decades (possibly including a Breadman like yours). I think we must have the same brand of measuring cups! (The handle and markings on the one you were using to measure the flour is exactly like mine.) I typically will make pressure-cooker chicken noodle soup the day after I've roasted a chicken for Sunday dinner. (When we get rotisserie chicken, it's always from the supermarket deli, as the nearest Costco is far enough away that their rotisserie birds would get cold by the time we got home.) I also keep canned chicken breast in the cupboard to supplement the leftover roast chicken if needed (I still have 1 can left of the 6-pack of Kirkland canned chicken breast we bought in November).

Enjoyed the cooking video. I make a Mexican casserole with black beans. Corn. Salsa, and taco meat layered between tortillas. With cheese. If I get the opportunity, I will email it to you.

Hello from Finland. 👋 90% of our cans have that ring that you just pull, no need for can opener. I don't even own one, I never learned how to use it

Yes I love to see cooking new dishes. Try making curry chicken. The recipe is on utube. It goes well with basmati rice or naan bread.
