I am so glad to have stumbled upon your account! As mom to 5 of my own, and a family household of 9 to cook for, it is so refreshing and cozy to see videos that are a true reflection of the chaos and joy of a multiple children household and meals. Love 💕!!
I have 5 children also. My children are "hafu". I am divorced from my husband. My children are teens. I miss Japan a lot. Thank you for posting videos. It makes me remember my children at you children's ages. It was a very busy time in my life. I feel like I never sat down. 😂 I also never remember falling asleep, I would wake up with a child's book in my hands or hugging one of my children. Enjoy their age. They grow up so fast. My oldest child is 27 and my youngest is 13. I still cook Japanese food daily. But miss buying groceries from Japanese stores. Finding Japanese products is possible but the price has become very costly after the pandemic. I'd love to see more food prep for obento. If I keep obento foods cooked in the freezer then morning's go very smoothly. Lots of love from the USA❤

Hello from Australia. Your video brings back memories of cooking for my 5 kids and husband. We did a lot of shopping at Costco. Kids are all grown now, and only cooking for 2.

What an amazing meal. Goodness, to fix such large dinners while keeping an eye on 5 active children is quite remarkable. I am so impressed with this young woman. She always seems so calm. I would love to join them for a meal.😊

I’m very sensitive to onions and cry so much. Even the whites of green onions affect me sometimes. Putting the onions in the refrigerator really helps. Cold onions have less fumes than ones stored on the counter. I also put them in a bowl after cutting and put a plate on top until used in cooking. I wash or wipe off my cutting board right afterwards to get rid of the juice. In this case, I would have cut the onion in half and processed 1/2 a onion at a time putting the cut side down to reduce fumes while I cut the other half. Place diced portions in a covered bowl and repeat until done. Then wipe the board. I find doing this with cold onions I barely react while with room temperature onions I cry for a long time after finished.

Usually my parents will use the largest zip bag sold in Costco or just using unused plastic grocery bag (I’m not sure if Japan have those tho). For most meat we bought from Costco, my dad would separate them into smaller packages since we are a 3 members family haha so we don’t consume much per meal. Grounded meat usually will be used when they want to make dumplings or Xiaolongbao; others like Chicken, pork, beef, and lamb will be used to cook different dishes from their Northeastern backgrounds. I enjoy everything they cooked anyways 😊

i had no idea there was a Costco there ( i used to go there because I lived 3 1/2 hours from a store by foot and didnt have the time to keep going to any stores so i bought certain things in bulk ) thats cool that it had some American labels or American food like that cheese. I been to the factory that makes those... cool!

Otro video encantador 💙🖤💙🖤
