Thank you for the ride through Cotulla! My Dad drove a Greyhound Bus for many years between San Antonio and Laredo, retiring just before his 65th birthday in 1970. I remember him mentioning that the contract station agency stop in Cotulla was a service station. If I recall, the service station owner's name was Eliseo G. Ramirez. My Dad enjoyed the brief station stops here as the owner was a very kind person and a good agent for Greyhound!

hey that’s my hometown. I remember my first time driving on the highway, i almost went straight into the grass as i was getting off at the exit there 0:55 cause i didn’t slow down enough 😅

Thank you so much for this video, my husband went there on a job and I wanted to know what's looks like, in this town that I never heard of. Now I know that President LBJ lived and worked there as a teacher and name Cotulla is named after a ranger Joseph Cotulla who gave away 180 acres to build this town. most of all thank you for this video now I know what condition hubby is living in.

People don't realize, that just across the Nieces ever there was considered No man land the Mexican empire wanted that to be the border not the Rio Grande also Pancho Villa roamed this area killing white settlers from 1895 -1918, he was eventually assainated by the Gov.of Mexico in 1922 at a playa in Mexico. TEXAS WAS FORMED BY BLOOD AND SWEAT 1836- PRESENT GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC OF THE LONE STAR STATE.
