That was so clean even in slow motion I barely caught it. Glad to see you're still posting man.

I can tell you first hand, it looks and feels even faster in person! Absolute nightmare, and tons of fun, even being on the receiving end lol

Never thought that we could adapt 제독검 in that way. It's splendid. How did you predict opponent's movement?

Thanks! I didn't predict his movement, I drew out the downwards cut by coming into distance and then drawing up my sword looking like I was going to throw a downwards cut but had stuffed up by being too close so that he would try and throw a fast committed downwards cut to close me out. But then instead of bringing my sword back down into the dowards cut I stepped off line and took it around to do the rising cut

Oh man, am still a bit sad about missing your workshop on this. Trying to learn your secrets via educational youtube instead lol. Both to stop you doing it to me, and cause I want something in my toolkit other than absetzen or ansetzen against big overhead cuts (that also doesn't somewhat rely on the opponent respecting the point in their face lol). Plus my lunge puts me a good foot lower than expected already. Does being smaller target help? :P Might ask you if we can focus on this a bit when we next bout!

Smaller definitely helps. Happy to run you through it anytime as well because it's such a fun technique to do
