Everyone should stop judging parents who go through IVF and surrogacy saying that they should adopt. It’s a personal choice and they have every right to do whatever they feel is best for them. NoobKiller Roof There are different types of surrogacy: if a woman has had severe endometriosis or other gynaecological problems resulting in a total hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) but still has functioning ovaries, we have what is called "full surrogacy". This is where the "eggs" are taken and injected with her partner's sperm. The resulting embryo(s) are then implanted into the uterus of a surrogate and the embryo(s) and hence any child is the genetic offspring of the couple. In cases where the ovaries aren't working or have been surgically removed, the ovaries of the surrogate may be used with the sperm of the male partner so the resulting embryos are genetically partly that of the surrogate - she's donated her eggs as well as her uterus. "Full surrogacy" is psychologically easier by comparison to the surrogate donating her own eggs, and more widely accepted.

Supporting that child alone coast more money then you pay for an adoption. The lady in the video made it sound like you order a child and then you go pick it up. If anyone thinks it like that or even close to that easy. They have no respect for the children being adopted and shouldn’t adopt

WOW THIS ENTIRE SEGMENT WAS SO TOUCHING. WHEN JILL GAVE BIRTH TO ALEXANDRA, THE ONIONS CAME OUT OF NOW WHERE, (CRYING), AND I LOVE HOW JILL DID NOT GRAB THE BABY WHEN THEY LAID ALEXANDRA ON HER. THAT WAS IMPORTANT...NOT ONLY SO SHE WOULD NOT GET ATTACHED TO THE BABY, BUT ALSO SO THE MOM WOULD BE THE FIRST TO HOLD HER. I BET MANY PPL DIDN'T NOTICE THAT. SHE KEPT HER ARMS BY HER SIDE, AND THE NURSES GRABBED THE TOWEL WRAPPED IT AROUND THE BABY, THEN HANDED HER OFF TO HER MOMMY. AND WHEN THE SISTER N LAW SURROGATE GOT THE PHONE CALL 2 HOURS LATE ABOUT THE PREGNANCY TEST, I THOUGHT SHE WAS PRANKING CHRISTIAN AND COLLIN, BY LOOKING LIKE SHE HAD BAD NEWS. I GUESS BECAUSE I WAS HOPING FOR THE BEST, ESPECIALLY SINCE THAT WAS HER LAST EMBRYO. AND THEN WHEN SHE STARTED TURNING RED AND CRYING, I WAS LIKE TELL HER IT'S A PRANK ALREADY AND YOU ARE JUST KIDDING. SADLY SHE WASN'T. THAT BROKE MY HEART. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND, THIS MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION, BUT WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE ANY KIDS AND SHE IS SO YOUNG? DOES SHE NOT HAVE ANYMORE EGGS, DID SOMETHING HAPPEN, DID THEY EXPLAIN WHY AND I MISSED IT? AND I THINK I GET WHY THEY DON'T WANT TO USE THEIR SISTER N LAW'S EGGS AND HIS SPERM, BECAUSE THAT IS HIS SISTER RIGHT, SO THAT WOULD PROBABLY FEEL LIKE INCEST TO THEM. AND I GET IT, SHE WANTS HER OWN ANYWAY. THIS SUCKS, ONLY BECAUSE THERE ARE SOOO MANY PPL IN THIS WORLD WHO HAVE CHILDREN AND DON'T WANT THEM, BUT IT SEEMS AS IF THE ONES WHO SEEMS LIKE THEY WOULD BE GREAT PARENTS SUFFER AND CAN'T CONCEIVE.....UGGHH!!! BLESS ALL OF YOU. CONGRATS TO ALEXANDRA'S PARENTS THO. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AN UPDATE ON THEM.

I was asked by my adoption lawyer after having a baby who was conceived by a stranger at knife point for surrogacy as his wife could not keep a baby in her womb. Of course I had just delivered and so for maternal and child health you must wait. It never came about but I was considering it as it is not purchasing a child but rather caring for a person to put their life on hold to bear a child with usually your genetics depending on what the difficulties were for the couple who are getting the child. Surrogacy is a beautiful thing so long as everyone keeps to their promises and agrees to everything before hand and no one is taken advantage of.

People never know how a situation is unless they have been in it I didn’t think I could have children for years and it broke my heart and I never considered adopting cus I wanted my own child that had my dna and genetics I don’t see anything wrong with it but who wouldn’t want they own child and to carry a baby and give birth or just have a baby that is actually theirs you can’t force somebody to want to adopt a damn child here I am pregnant with my second baby and I couldn’t be more happier it is truly a blessing to have a baby some people just want to experience that and some people deserve just that

My sis and her husband divorced and immediately started fighting over the 12 embryos they had frozen. Court documents started flying back and forth and in the end the embryos thawed during an electrical failure. Hmmmmm. My sister said she asked if any other people lost their embryos. They assured her that no one else had! Fishy if you ask me.

pussiriffic no there's different terms of surrogates. Ts meaning traditional surrogate (the surrogates egg and fathers sperm) gs surrogate meaning either mothers egg or donated and fathers sperm implanted into the surrogate. Do research. Just because she's biologically related to the child it doesn't mean she's not a surrogate

I think it would be a great idea for the future mother to stop smoking. For one thing it’s very expensive and they could use the money for the baby. And secondly it’s bad for the mother and bad for the mother to smoke around the child when it’s born. My husband is on 24 seven oxygen now from smoking so I know what I’m talking about.

I don't know what to say. The struggle is very exhausting. I know because I've been there. Infertility had been a long journey. And in the end, surrogacy was the only option. Now I would say, I wouldn't have it any other way. We love our baby very much. It doesn't matter if someone else carried it.

My husband also asked me for adoption but i wanted my won biological baby. So we are visiting a clinic in ukraine for our procedure and my hopes are high. Clinic has the highly experienced staff and doctors. So i hope my journey goes well.

Actually I don’t think surrogacy is a bad thing . There are people who dreamt of having children when they were merely children themselves . However , not everyone is able to realize that dream , and they also realize that they just don’t have the capabilities of raising a child . If people like these have the health to carry a baby for someone else and they are willing to do so , they should go for it . I think it would be the upmost privilege to carry a child on the inside. Should my health treat me differently I would have gone for it . However given that I feel some 50 year old people are healthier than me , I unfortunately can’t carry a child to term . So much can go wrong with the baby and myself given my health condition. Yes I am aware that these surrogates can die giving birth but ultimately all human beings in this earth will die someday . No one is immortal .

Hey. This is beautiful. I can't tell how happy I am. To see surrogacy being supported. So many people talk about it. But people who come out and talk about their stories. Then go for options like these. Kudos to them. They are strong. And doing their best. We should always stay by their sides. And support them than bashing them. Cheers.

It is for sure a very good video out there. I found this video very useful. Infertility is really a bad experience one has to face. But it is all natural and one can do nothing against it. Surrogacy is really a blessing for couples like us who are infertile or can't conceive. Finding a surrogate mother is not an easy task but your video proved very much helpful in this case. Although there are many very well reputed and good clinics which offer surrogacy. But not all can afford them. So they go out finding surrogates on their own. SO this video is very helpful for such couples. Keep posting videos like this. Best of luck!

People who really love children will adopt if they can't have biological child.Saying that you only can love your biological child is like people loving dogs but only pure breads.Love can not be limited by genes. Either you love or you don't. There are so many children waiting to be adopted, so there is no lacking of need for love.
@NayLouise24

Irena Kuvizic thats ridiculous. Loving your biological child isn't just simple. There are hormones involved and genes. Its a different kind of love for your biological children. You can learn to love an adopted child but birthing your own is very, very different.

For me love is very biological. I never loved or liked kids before having my own. When my son was born, the love just came. A gift from nature. I tolerate and even love other children much more now, but it is totally not the same.
