My wife and I do not have a perfect marriage but we are working on it. We have both made mistakes. But I love her and will stay with her and I will be there for my kids.

Remember there is no such a thing as a perfect marriage, everyone makes mistakes in their lives. The only person that never done a single mistake, was Jesus Christ. I don’t know if you’re a Christian or not but I’m just telling you like a good Samaritan that there is no such a thing as perfect mankind. The only one who is always perfect is our almighty God the Father. Anyways, good luck with your marriage!

Agreed. I was fortunate, I was adopted and had (have) a great dad who taught me how to step up and be a good dad.

I saw this movie nine years ago, and looking back now, this speech hits me as I grew up without my dad in my life for 20 years. But had the absolute chance to catch up with him at 14. I still love my dad today. We still keep in contact. This speech has put some tears in my eyes.

When I heard this speech last night, I stood amongst the men of courage; and responded to the call to take part in this resolution, and honor God with it. Count Me In.

I lost all 4 of my children to the state of Tennessee. While I was on the road working their mother lost them and I was told I would never be a decent parent because I was a truck driver. Now they have been adopted out and I have no say over their lives.

Have your four children truly been legally adopted? Or simply placed in foster care so far? Let me urge you not to give up! GOD has the LAST word, and HE'S the one who gave you those children in the first place! I hope you have Jesus in your heart and turn to him with your whole heart and ask HIM to make a way where there SEEMS to be NO way! How much do you WANT to be a father to those children? They can't just be "pets" that are fun for you when you're home. I urge you to seek HIM with your WHOLE HEART and LISTEN to his answers and FOLLOW him. YOU are the father he gave them to. Please listen to YOUR father and then DO what he says as he leads and guides you and directs you. God bless you and your children.
