Thanks for that reaction, Courtney is a spontaneous time bomb and she explodes when she starts to perform, she is truly one of a kind as Angelina Jordan. but in a a different genre.

She's a dynamo on stage singing this kind of music, I like it so much, you have to hear and watch her singing ballads like "At last" by Etta James, "And I'm telling you", this is not a ballad but I like it also, I think you'll like them. She's out of this world and the best I've seen in many years. I love her.

She's amazing but my "go to" talent show songs are always, David Dam - Lets Get It On, Charly Luske - This is A Mans World, Bogdan Ioan - Earth Song, Brian Justin Crum - Creep, Jahmene Douglas - At Last, Louisa Johnson - Who's Loving You, Christopher Maloney - The Rose

I haven't been following the music scene for a long long time. At 63 I figured my head was filled with more music than I can handle - also, I play some classical guitar and can always pickout a tune. I never thought that someone could give me that BUZZ once more - it feels like 1962/63 again and the Beatles dropped out of the sky - Courtney Hadwin makes me laugh and cry and want MORE, MORE!!! When we used to buy records we didn't ask ourselves WHO IS BEST? We knew who we liked, and that was NO disparagement of any other performers (unless we were really pushed to defend our choice - but I think that even as kids we knew that that was a totally unedifying practice - (and radio starions engaged in pitting one band against another at their peril) Now that I'm older and a bit wiser I know that Vocal coaches or trainers regard the best that one can achieve is so much dependent upon what we are born with - there being a good deal of scales, runs and arpeggios, vibrato & sustain, musical phraseology and embellishments, and breathing exercises for the diaphram to do, in short, bloody hard work! But outside of that each individual has a unique anatomy just as an individually handcrafted violin say might be favoured over others (Stradivari etc) a singer's ultimate end is to have reached their own peak performance level, given all the unique peculiarities of their body, temperament & training. Competition then can be an unfortunate exercise for those who believe that to be better or best is somehow to become the voice of the winner - an impossible task (except perhaps for an equally determined twin???) But to do really well in a Competition format is to gain exposure and Courtney has achieved that with flying colours; to get the judges to remember them, and as Simon pointed out Courtney is "not to be forgotten" (Golden Buzzer performances of AGT will grace our tvs, computers, phones and devices for years and years to come); it is to receive the most honest and very best advice the judges can offer and Courtney certainly got that - and those words can NEVER be taken back! Fiinally, it is to be given a place on the professional ladder of success, where so many entertainers do their thing - and now she is acquainting herself with her workplace 💕😄👌 Had she had a win (lol) in AGT Courtney would have been contractually obliged to certain performances and public appearances that would have been good for AGT regardless, but not necessarily for her. By NOT winning her competitions but powering on regardless Courtney has proven herself to be bigger than competitions, bigger than AGT (and that is nothing against the show but the comments and predictions of all four judges ("it's people like you Courtney that make us look good") pointed to exactly that :) the stratosphere 👍❤💕🎶 And now I'd like to say how lucky we ALL are that we have the technology that lets us experience Courtney's road to success in a way that was never possible 50years ago. We tuned in to scratchy signals with hushed breath just in the hope of learning some new little scrap of information about our idols and then traded our news proudly and with huge excitement with our friends and family 🤪🎶😄😎🙏

Courtney is 12 there and made it to the finals. But she is so different and dynamic that it seems in these talent shows she is just too much for some people to win the top spot, although in my opinion she has the most unique and special talent. There is a longer video of that performance that showed judge will i am asking Courtney to perform again and then regretting that he did not turn for her. Her best performance on that show was James Brown's I Feel Good!

Eddie, I love Courtney, my only knock on her is her dancing, she's going to hurt herself if she doesn't get some lessons! That being said there are a few earlier videos of her in which she shows another voice altogether, when she tones it down she has a very sweet ,clear voice with plenty of range, vibrato, and even a little falsetto! She will go far and is another of these young artists that people insist on labeling! She is not Janis Joplin, she is Courtney Hadwin and she will make her name on her own merits!

@Lawrence Karpman I just realized that Mick Jagger would be the perfect dance coach for Courtney! I am really being tongue in cheek about the dancing, i guess I am projecting what would happen to me if I tried! About 30 seconds into it and I would need the EMTs!

In the longer version, after Courtney was done, the judge that did turn around was asking Courtney where she learned her moves. The other judges asked her to do part of the song again so they could see and they were impressed. One called her a little star. The woman said she was annoyed that she hadn't turned around. Will.i.am said he messed up. Called it the time you don't turn around and Courtney happens.

Hi, Eddie, another suggestion on what you said about her is "River deep, mountain high", by Tina Turner also, I know you'll like it. She's the best.
