Courtney is pure adrenalin from when the first beat drops until the last note stops. I think she is a musical genius not just cerebral but body and soul. Developing her singing very early and performing for quite a while before having a vocal coach she must have intuited a good deal with regard to pitch, articulation, breath control, amplification, distortion, and musicality. While this last quality involves how best to combine the others and in what mix it is a very personal skill or talent that never stops maturing. And from looking at Courtney's 'shows' from an even more tender age it becomes clear that this incredible girl is self-driven. She seems to demonstrate such an affinity with the songs she sings that we immediately know this is no mere imitation. Courtney has shaken the song free from it's originator as she settles in and almost bleeds into it, giving it a new home. It's a visceral experience. Courtney does not play safe at all and as a result has taken her voice to places others would fear to tread. But because she IS fearless she always comes out on top! The Age of Courtney will demand a big stage indeed. Someone mentioned Wembley 👍

From little English schoolgirl to the master of funk, and then back again. Yes, it's amazing. I heard there's an album coming out this year, it's going to be so major. Great reaction!

The best thing you can drop before going to work is a Courtney Hadwin video! Courtney does turn into a lioness from her demure self, and it's so cool. This is her only original song up now until she releases her new album.

What a great reaction. I give you so much credit for recognizing and acknowledging Courtney's soft spoken demeanor both before and after the performance. Until the music starts, she is that 14 (at the time of recording) year old girl and she reverts back to being that same girl the minute the music stops, but in between she becomes pure fire. Those of us who have been watching years of Courtney's performances, recognize the authenticity of the difference in her personal and performing personality. Not everyone has been as observant, nor as kind, in their comments on the topic.

Nice reaction, as usual, Kap! Thanks for reacting to my suggestion! You put her up there amongst music royalty when you compare her with Prince, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, etc. You're right that she has that a shy off-stage personality like the greats you mentioned, but they all have the ability to turn into lions on-stage and capture an entire audience with their singing & performing abilities which includes the passion and enthusiasm that they put into each and every song they perform. I can guarantee that, once her 1st album or originals drops in the coming few months, and she starts touring, her concerts will be fire! 🔥🔥🔥 When you have a moment, would you please react to her stripped-down version of "Pretty Little Thing"? She took the super-lively PLT song you just saw, stripped it down, slowed it up and came up with this gorgeous ballad. You won't believe it's the same song!!! - kzitem.info/news/bejne/03mG2JeYg6d3e6Q THANK YOU!!!!!

I do like when you or anyone for that matter reacts to this girl. But I need to voice this one complaint. As a fan, I like hearing what the reactor is experiencing. And I like watching what you are seeing too. You mention listening on your Bose system and had to start it over. Well that's the same with the video for the viewer. The problem is I don't see what you see. The way you have your video content of the artist, your video box cuts out part of the whole picture. In this case we don't see enough of Courtney. She gets cut out quite a bit. It's not just this video of Courtney, it's any of your reactions videos. In this case we are missing Courtney's move which is a big part of her presence. The box should contain what your viewing at home. Not having the whole picture ruins the experience for the viewer. I do apologize for saying it, but it's true.
