God bless all the juries in this country. It isn't perfect but American Justice has a well-intentioned heart, and we can be grateful even people that we may not like when they become part of a jury, and they take the oath and they begin to feel the weight of what they are being asked to do and to give... I believe they are imbued with many qualities that we may not associate with them in their everyday lives. It may be a letter in the mail that you may have never wanted to receive, but I think we all need to think of it as our civic duty, an opportunity to be of service to our communities and the rule of law. We are so lucky to live in a democracy where everyone can be given the opportunity to have a hand in these decisions. One important thing about juries is that there are at least 11 other people, faced with everything you are faced with. And even though it's your only has one voice, no juror is alone. I got called for jury duty once and I was not actually able to serve. I hope I get called again because I consider it an honor.

I'm looking at a pic taken of the families having lunch after the sentencing preceedings today. The Woodstocks, Colby, Tammy's family, maybe about #20 . So warming to see this.

The last video with all the direct victims was so hard to watch. My heart goes out to all the families affected by the selfish acts of 2 people. Nate, thank you for the way you have covered these cases. I remember seeing you for the 1st time in Hawaii when you tried to get Lori to tell us where her children were. You've brought integrity & kindness to the all the victims & their familes. Thanks for your dedication to the truth & justice. Hopefully we'll see you in AZ for Charles & Brandon.
