For those who don't know, Yoko Kanno helped compose, and Steve Conte is the singer. (He is the male singer for many of her compositions.)

The scene goes so well with the music, you don't even need the dialogue or sound affects.

@@SuperBustyEva no man its an animation technique, for large explosions where walls and grounds are blowing up and shit. Debris are drawn as a large amount of cubes. I'll link you kzitem.info/news/bejne/qJ-CvGR_fXaKmoY . I'm saying compared to yutapon cubes, those glass shards are nothing special.

@daniel appleton check out razorfist's queen episode of his metal mythos series. Sadly he doesn't release a lot of those because the record companies auto flag the videos. They are like a better version of vh1's behind the scenes from the age when mtv still had music.

@daniel I am all fine with capitalism. The problem is youtube set it up for large media companies to abuse the system with almost no recourse if you don't want to spend 250k to let you make much less than that off views.

There's a reason the version of this song with female vocals is better - it has to do with the fact that the organ chords at 0:34 are louder and more dramatic, due to the fact that a female vocal doesn't trample over the main frequencies of the chords. It's actually the opposite of why a band with guitars sounds better with a male vocalist - female vocalists sing in the range of the guitars, so in order to keep the guitars present in the mix, the vocals are filtered. tl;dr - watch?v=l9_p-nhZXLg

fatmn sorry but I prefer this version. It gives a feeling of despair and depression. The woman version is only "dramatic" but it doesn't sound like a depressed and broken person singing.
