Oh man I was waiting for it! Better luck next time. Was the trap off center? I see from that video why it is so important. Thanks for the share. New subscriber here

I saw the trap fire I’m a guessing it was buried to deep I use Trap bedder cookie cutter for my traps so the traps doesn’t get deep in the dirt

The dudes trap wasn’t bed solid likes it suppose to the trap wobbled and it fired and that’s how the coyote missed the trap

Dammit that’s a fur miss I never had a problem with that before I sometimes catch coyotes on hind legs or paw catch most important thing to remember when setting coyote traps is make sure that your trap is bed solid so it doesn’t wobble once the trap is in the trap bed pack it in with dirt waxed dirt and buckwheat cover hulls and put a little dab of coyote gland on a piece of grass and sometimes the coyote gland lure runs off the grass onto the dirt but when that happens I use a leaf to wipe it off the dirt Good luck tight chains!
