I was working on that train 35 years ago they were call 904 leaving St-Luc yard in Montréal and 903 leaving Newport. Richford used to be the U.S Border. I remember the old bunk room where we used to sleep. That is great memories thank you for the vid...

#1835 is now on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. I worked on its FRA Inspection before it was repainted. So cool! Thanks for sharing!

I remember riding on the 4200 on that vid. We used to leave St-Luc yard with 15,000 tons of freight and 5 locomotive. Thank you again

Hi Steve, Yes the trains still run, however that is all MMA territory now, we were there in November and not much was happening. After the big derailment, not too much is going on, we did see a local headed for Farnum but we lost it. Craig

They do indeed! However, the Central Maine and Quebec Railways owns the line now, and the traffic is no longer as heavy as it was.

The good old days, before all of that stupid graffiti began surfacing and plaguing rail cars all over the place these days. So what happens when these spray vandals run out of railcars to deface? What will they go after next, locomotives? Graffiti gotta go. Do it someplace else, not on the rail cars.
