JP here. Thanks for the kind words. Cros and I didn't have a "falling out". We had a moving on. I love the guy like a brother and we've shared many years of amazing music together. It been a great opportunity to play with the various incarnations, and the work left behind speaks for itself. At the same time we learn from all the various experiences and combos, and creating new ones are imperative for growth. Hence the changes which have been as important as working together. The music lives on,

Have always loved that strat of yours since I first saw CPR on a PBS special (I think that was the late 90's or early 2000's).. Am not so much of a strat guy.. (I had a nice Amer. Std. but didn't play it often enough to warrant keeping it..)..., But yours is REALLY NICE.. !! But, I think you could make a cigar box with baling wire on it sound good.. Love your catalogue of work..🎶❣👍 You are truly an inspiration..

This song was a wonderful addition to the latter part of the early 2004 CPR tour. The world needs more CPR...and I certainly do. Dan

CPR was such a great band. Shame that they didn't last. This song was made for them. David's spot-on lead vocals, Peev's powerful guitar, James' vocal & keyboard talents, the rhythm section - right in the pocket. Just perfect!! GREAT POST resets! Thanks for sharing!!!

If he had been born ten years earlier, you can bet that Jeff Pevar would have been a session guitarist on many Steely Dan tracks. He plays with phenomenal taste.

Excellent cover! David Crosby sounds great, Pevar is right on with the lead guitar. And, a nice touch at the end with a little intro from Deacon Blues.

Love the chord progression at the end...very Dan-esque. There's nothing from this band that I've heard that I haven't loved

Yes, that's because the chords at the end are the intro from "Deacon Blues"!

I was at Pevar's house 3 days ago. He is devastated. He played the first song that he and Croz wrote together - Little Blind Fish - through tears. Croz had fall-outs with nearly everyone he knew. He and Jeff were too tight to let an argument end their friendship (unlike some other people who hold grudges til they burn).
