i love the number 51, a 1990 cr500 i think...just rolling over that hill like it was easy,wow!... that guy knows his bike better than he knows his own face...and he didnt stand up, wheely or anything...your bike gets best traction when your butt is pushing down on the seat and you need to keep you center of gravity low...i watched him 6 times

My first bike was a Honda 77 XL75 on/off bike, then a 78 KD175, 79 XL250, 79 XR500, 83 CR250, 84 CR500 and then the CR500 I have today

I have a random question about the length you decide to make the wheelbase... I notice there is a great amount of adjustment available. Basically, how do you decide how long the chain/wheelbase needs to be for a given event?

KX500...holy crap they are sexy....so so so nice and KING of the 500 2-strokes!!!! (except maybe the YZM500!) I like that hand-coned pipe on the KX around the 2:12 mark I believe.

You can tell who will make it to the top just by how they handle that first little jump. The ones that make it and are smooth clearly have mx or significant off-road experience.

you have shown me that if a person likes to race the cr 500 is the best machine as this bike is a contender on the street or in the dirt, in the summer or in the winter! kind of a swiss army knife when racing can happen, doesnt matter where or when the cr 500 is ready to go!

+Brian Jacobsen Thanks for watching, the CR has a bored cyl just to clean it up and about 5 min worth of porting at the base of the jug, the clutch cover I found on ebay thought it looked kind of nifty
