Brother i am a professional D.J. been doing it over 50 years......i am 64 and been a D.J. since age 14......So what you are doing is obsolete to what real D.J's prefected way back in the day.........we didn't use NO. COMPUTER TO SAMPLE A BEAT PATTERN........EVERYTHING WAS HANDS ON.......HAND AND EYE COORDINATION........THAT THE KEY TO A REAL TRUE D.J. ........NOT A FICTIONAL WANT TO BE ...........GET MY DRIFT.........LOL

I think that DJ's that scratch with 1 turntable really are not perfecting the true skills of scratch mixing because they really dont virtually have to use the true hand and eye coordination it takes to be a true perfectionist at the art.........REAL TALK...

I didn't completely understand your remark but know that it was for a pure scratch competition " skratch nerds" and I had to choose a beat on a looper, hence the use of a single deck and my computer. look at my other videos, there are the 2 decks ;)

@@crabees All i am saying is that i dont call a mix when you are using a computer or loop machine ....... True D.j" s scratch with the artifacts of 2 turntables and they mix from one side to the other simultaneously......catching the beat with accurate hand and eye coordination........I have been a D.J. since age 13 i am now 63 and i have never seen dj" s scratch unauthorized like this

As a scratch DJ that started in 1988 influenced by JMJ, we were lucky to have one operating turntable and a crackly mixer. That's an analog record, and the scratching is dope af. The practice involved in those cuts is immense. Love @crabees getting down. Respect.

@@nate43data I respect the art........But i still think that when you use 1 turntable, beat looper and a computer you're not perfecting the true art of being a D.J. because the looper and the computer takes away the art of perfecting good hand and eye coordination which is the main key essentials of becoming a D.J. ( ASK ANY PROFESSIONAL D.J. YOU KNOW)
