It's probably worth having some cornflour to hand, incase you have hot hands. It also helps stop the paste sticking to the work surface :)
I have made these using a range of brown model paste colours but you can of course change these to suit :)
Model Paste;
70g brown modelling paste (for the head)
35g brown modelling paste (for the body)
5g black modelling paste (for eyelashes and nose)
20g white modelling paste (for mixing with brown to create a pale brown for the tummy and around the eye area)
5g red model paste (nose)
5g dark brown model paste (for the antlers)
Equipment;
Small rolling pin
Dresden tool
Heart shaped cutter roughly 2inch (or they can cut out by hand)
Brush (for glueing with)
Small pot of water or edible glue
Small paring knife or craft (exacto knife)
3 inch wide dummy (by 1inch deep)
Pink saracino powder colour
Fluffy brush for dusting onto cheeks.
