Seeing that video, how could you tell he was so miserable inside?

That's not a very nice thing to say about someone you don't know.

@@simonpantera It is not meant to be mean in any way. He committed suicide. Knowing that, we can reasonably assume that he was feeling miserable inside. It is just a sad fact.

This is a body movement in Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu interesting. Nice 👍

It looks more like Tai Otoshi rather than Seoi Otoshi. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It's a common misconception. Many high ranking sensei still thinks a mix of tai-otoshi and seoi-nage becomes seoi-otoshi, which is a completely different technique. It's probably from a book somewhere, and is carried on. He actually shows seoi-otoshi, seoi-nage and tai-otoshi at different times in this video. See kodokan's explanation of the difference here; kzitem.info/news/bejne/lmyZnGWfs1-Xp20

It IS a seoi otoshi because first, his kumi kata is that of seoi nage and second, he drops on his knee.

It is not seoi-otoshi.

I really don't care what it is called - I like it. It is a drop and it uses the shoulder so the name works for me.
