The f/ stop determines the size the diafragm (a little thing inside your lense that works like a shutter), which determines the amount of light that gets to your sensor, so not only should you rely on your shutter speed, but also on that for your exposure.

Awesome series, I've been enjoying it, and look forward to the next episode. I do wonder, though, why you would use Automatic white balance? I usually find florescent white balance to be the best for what I do (I mostly use florescent bulbs though), but wouldn't automatic try to change every frame? I know that if you're shooting without Dragonframe, the white balance automatically sets itself on every picture, which can result in white-balance flicker (the little cousin of light flicker, I suppose), but I'm unsure if Dragonframe sets it once and forces it to stick with the setting. Just curious, keep up the good work!

I have synesthesia, so for me, words appear in different colors, usually depending on what letter they start with. My real name Sarah is red. My username Miss Mash is purple. The word 'cool?' Orange. So one of us associates cool with orange, at least -and not just because I ate a frozen orange last week-

That actually reminded me of a book I read about a girl who could delve herself into other people's dreams and ended up helping cops solve cases with that power, but the more she used it the more her sight deteriorated and her hands became less functional (knotting up at the joints and slowly making them impossible to move). It was a really good book and made this comment even funnier for me, but I imagine I sound really weird psychopathic now. Oh well.

Hey, Im getting a new camera for a student animation for my final year. Dragonframes website recommends using a Nikon lens on a Canon camera to reduce "flicker". Have you ever seen this as an issue? Is it worth getting the Nikon lens? Also, any advice on camera choice or lenses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
@connorreed779

Helpful video man. My Canon EOS Rebel T6 isn't being recognized in Dragonframe. Do you have any idea how to fix this? It is not a connectivity issue because my computer recognizes that the camera is plugged in.
Is the "Some Actual Freakin' Animation" got something to do with wind? Because it has been so freaking windy here in England.
