Love that you did Aerosmith! The first band y'all are ranking since Rush that I have a full ranking for as well.

YES! You're back! I JUST started listening to Aerosmith for this first time at the beginning of last year. I was blown away. I absolutely fell in love with this band. They don't have a bad album. This deep dive was a blast for me. They are probably a top ten band for me. I can't wait to listen to these episodes. I hope Eddie loved them as much as I did.

Aerosmith is one of my favourite bands and since I have nothing better to do (except uni assignments, but Im not a fuckin nerd), so heres my ranking: Disclaimer: This is all my own opinion, if you disagree thats fine, like whatever you like, this is just how I feel 15. Honkin' On Bobo A covers album that isnt Renegades or Garage Inc., pass I dont care 2/10 14. Music From Another Dimension! A really good comeback album! Some really cool classic sounding songs. At points the pitch correction is a bit much for me, but its never something that takes me out of it. For a man who was in his 60s at the time who had throat cancer years prior, Ill give Mr. Tyler a pass. For a bunch of old farts, this is a really good album, albeit around 5 songs too long. I feel this album could be cut to maybe 10 songs and be so much stronger Favourite song: Beautiful - I love this song, sound like a great blend of classic and modern Aerosmith Least favourite song: Cant Stop Lovin You - I hate country as much as Steven does 6/10 13. Done With Mirrors I get that this is the album where Joe came back, but it has always been interesting to me that this was meant to be Aerosmiths big comeback, because in my opinion Aerosmith never sounded smaller than this. The lead single being a rerecording of a Joe Perry song, songs with a samey vibe, and a not very interesting production just to name a few things. To me it seems like a band filled with fucking fantastic musicians not trying as hard as they possibly could have, and they just so happened to make some pretty cool along the way Favourite song: Shela - A really fun groovy song Least favourite song: The Reason A Dog - Just not very memorable. With a lot of songs on this album, nothing new is brought to the table, and of those songs this is my least favourite 7/10 12. Rock In A Hard Place I feel bad ranking some of the "shit Aerosmith" albums near the bottom, because I love all Aerosmith albums, but the truth is that really good albums arent as good as fucking incredible perfect albums. I love this album, but my problem with this album is that for an album that came out in 1982, it feels so trapped in the 70s, and not very adventurous. Awesome songs, but not a ton to sink your teeth into. The simplest way I can describe it is that its them sticking to their guns, but its more of a Balance than an Adrenalize Favourite song: Bolivian Ragamuffin - An awesome song to get you fuckin pumped Least favourite song: Jig Is Up - Years later I still dont remember how this one goes 7/10 11. Nine Lives A great album, but it kinda just feels like a less interesting version of the previous 3 albums, and it is also a bit too long. Theres really good songs on it, but its not much different from the last few albums Favourite song: Falling in Love (Is Hard On The Knees) - Super catchy song that I love, super fun to sing along to Least favourite song: Fallen Angels - Definitely a good song, but I already commented on the length of the album, and this closer is 8 minutes long, and at that point Im kinda just waiting for the album to end 7/10 10. Just Push Play I love the new elements they implemented into this album. It doesnt sound shoevd. in or clunky like people try to make it seem. Some of seems a little bit goofy, but it is a really fun that I love so much Favourite song: Just Push Play - Really fun song with great modern elements, and I will never not giggle at Steven Tyler saying ganja Least favourite song: Luv Lies - I know I said this album doesnt sound clunky with some of the modern elements, but this is the one exception to that rule 8/10 9. Aerosmith A classic 70s rock record that does not deserve to be down this low whatsoever, but to me this album is a testament to the ridiculous heights the band would end up reaching following this album. The album doesnt sound much like the future Aerosmith to come, expecially the vocals. I love this album, but aside from make it, dream on and mama kin, its not an Aerosmith album Im gonna reach for over my top 8. Favourite song: Dream On - A classic ballad that I love so much. The standout on this track is the vocals, not only because theyre simply fantastic, but also because its indicative of where he would end up taking his vocals Least favourite song: Write Me A Letter - Good song, but a little repetitive 8/10 Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

Everything from their debut up until and including Rock In A Hard Place are great. Permanent Vacation and Pump have their moments. Everything else is not essential. Brad Whitford is the secret weapon of the band. And that’s about it. Cheers!

Oh Aerosmith. That's gonna be an interesting one, i only really know Pump and Get A Grip (Edith says D'Oh), so I'm up for ride here. Looking forward to get some inspiration 👍🏼 And no need to answer, i can relate to that anxiety feeling. Took me ages to finally send the mail for the same reason haha. And thanks for making me aware of the peepeeass Eddie, never gonna use it again without a giggle 😂 Oh Grapevine... Wanna rank some Creedence? Would be a nice listen.

Been waiting a LONG time for this one ! I know a lot people hate on Get A Grip, but due to my age that album is essential : the video for Living On the Edge was on MTV all the time and the kid from Terminator 2 was in it so I thought "These guys must be even bigger than Guns n' Roses !". Yeah well I was 10 at the time and I didn't even realize the hot teacher was a dude until the very end of the video , which is an improvement over Faith No More's "Easy" video : it took me a whole year to realize that the "hot chicks" in that video were ALL dudes. Anyway, can't wait for part 2 !!!

Always been one of my all time fav bands…it SHOULD have been my first concert on the permanent vacation tour, but at 10, my mom convinced me to go to a local amusement park and McDonald’s instead…yeah. That band has always captured my attention and being from new England originally myself, Boston’s own Aerosmith was a staple growing up and still is today. They are at the top of my live BUcketList, and the chemistry between those original 5 guys is inspirational and iconic. As a drummer, not siked they lost Joey Kramer…but I take the good with the bad. Esp with bands like Aerosmith, love em’ 🤩🤘

Peanut Butter Platypus! Another great one guys. I absolutely love Night in the Ruts and it's my personal favourite album of theirs. I know it has three cover songs, but they all fucking rule! Plus Chiquita, Cheese Cake and No Surprise are among my favourite Aerosmith songs. I have grown to love this entire discography.

Not a HUGE Aerosmith fan but I like a tin of their songs. About 2yrs ago now I made a decision to get their catalog on cd. The pop sheen they had in the late 90s/early-mid 00s I don't really like but their dirtier, bluesier, rockier stuff is up my alley. Since I just got their catalog, I'm interested to see how this goes.

If you skip the covers album I think you’ll make it all the way with Toto!
