In this episode we'll be testing the Crankshaft Position Sensor (POS) regarding trouble codes P0335 and P1336. The Crankshaft Position Sensor faces the gear teeth of the flywheel and detects the crankshaft position signal. The sensor sends voltage information to the ECM to detect crankshaft position. This was performed on a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Please check with your vehicle's repair manual for testing parameters.
