Thats awesome! I used to take my boys camping every year. On a little Brooke trout stream in the Allegany mts.

Just bumped into your channel, watching OT PDL 120 videos to learn about them. Interesting to hear/see you went to Truman. I imagine there are hundreds of ramps to put in at, I have family that lives on that lake and all I remember is riding in the boat for hours and getting gas at an on lake gas station. Looong lake channels there but I also remember my uncle knew exactly where to drive to dodge all the stumps in the water from the dock to the main lake. Areas you could reach in a kayak easy too.

First, thank you very much for coming by! If you don't have an OT 120 PDL, I'll tell you that my experience has exceeded my expectations. If you watch some of my other vids, you'll see I also have a bass boat. I bought 2 OT 120 PDL's (used) early last summer. Since then, I haven't taken my boat out. I like them that much. Truman is a great crappie fishery. Arguably a top 10 lake in the U.S. for crappie. Yes, you really have to be careful in a boat, with the submerged timber. In a PDL kayak, it's no big deal, and yes, lots of ramps to put in, so you can fish all over that lake from a kayak.

Cody, this trip looked awesome! I enjoyed the camping and cooking footage just as much as the fishing. Keep it coming! That bug screen on the camper looks like a must-have. That battery powered fan looks nice, too. I might look into getting one of those for bank fishing sessions.

Thanks Chris, I had a great time of fishing and camping. That little fan does work great, and it's really light and portable. Helps to keep the mosquitoes away too! Thanks for sharing, too! I really appreciate your support!

Thanks for watching! My first time camping over at Bucksaw, I really enjoyed it. We're pretty fortunate to have all of the Corps and State Park campgrounds in Missouri, we've got some gems!

We are headed to Bucksaw this weekend. Been fishing this stretch of lake my whole life and no one understands how lucky we are for this lake and the fun it provides. Btw Bucksaw has a really nice cleaning station!!!! Maybe we could fish sometime.

Awesome Noah, I hope ya'll catch'em good! Let me know how you do! I totally agree, Truman is a gem. We have so many awesome fisheries in MO, and I truly appreciate them all. Yeah, hopefully one day we can fish. I don't make it to Truman as much as I'd like. It's about 2+ hours for me, but always worth the drive over. Tight lines, and good luck this weekend!
