Great video and a great effort! Perhaps go a bit lighter on the kit next time - pretty sure you are boiling anyways so can do it in summer kit and no shades - every gram counts!

Yeah I mean like I said... I didn’t really prep at all for this, I had brekkie, drove 45mins straight to the climb, did a 5 minute warm up, if that... then went full gas! 🤣🙈

I beg to differ. Frontage Rd heading North from Silver Strand Bikeway in Imperial Beach, CA is easily the steepest paved climb in the world.

I reckon you'd have made the 2nd climb, if you had moved some of the debris out of the way. You were trying too hard to dodge twigs, etc. A 50/34 on front, probably would have made spinning just that bit easier.
