I dont like electronic devices. I have used them but never goes the way i want it to. So ill just do everything by hand lol

I think maybe the reason is for us fire work enthusiasts we love these more advanced videos and so when you do a smaller video that is just basic and easy to watch it draws in more attention and attraction from those who are new and aren’t really into fireworks much. Sometimes the more basic video is the most popular when it comes to the general public!

I know exactly why there is a difference in views when you post like an unboxing vs a massive show. It isn’t that people don’t like these big technical shows, many of us love them, because we do them ourselves …BUT, to most people, the big technical shows are an unobtainable expectation. Most will not be scripting their shows or have firing systems. Many are here just for general information. To see your take on say a specific assortment, and whether it’s worth buying. Or a specific set of fireworks. Personal showcases. Info, things that they are more likely to purchase. To me, when I started watching you, The information you have given, when simply showcasing specific fireworks, changed my perspective on how I shopped for fireworks. Specifically your budget videos. My show this past 4th was amazing, because I knew what to look for and what I wanted. Now, it’s up to me to make it better next season. It’s a more personal touch. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the big shows, and I love everything you post. Don’t stop posting these. It’s just, the showcases tend to reach the most of your fanbase personally. That is all. LOVE your content. I am all in on the pyrotechnic path. Thank you for excellent content.

Truth be told I absolutely love the firework shows I sit and watch them everytime. However I can see why people are turned off and that has to do with the time exceeding 10-15 mins up into 30-40 minute territory. Keep a balance cody we love the shows but we also love the shorter videos where you demo fireworks individually big or small!

I honestly try to cap myself at like 12 min for my personal displays. I think 8-10 min is a great time and people love it. Obviously us pyros can watch hours of fireworks and still keep going, but not everyone can take it.

My wife likes your random stuff, basically your personality, like getting excited about stuff that has nothing to do with fireworks during the videos. I like the longer videos, but who am I kidding, I like them all. The shorts are not my favorite, but that's usually because I've already watched the long (at least once). The setup and idea videos are not as exciting, but some of the most useful. I had an idea about poking a hole in a tube to do your and Garrison's cannister shell method a couple years ago but a firework buddy said it would work, the hole would cause an issue. As soon as I saw your video I started using that method and basically build at least one custom cake per "firework season" now. I am also now the proud owner of a brass awl and my firework shows are on an entirely different level thanks to your videos. We also have been placing group wholesale orders which is fantastic for my budget and my friends (but not so great for my storage space which is now primarily fireworks and silicone beads. Some of my favorite videos are the ones with family at a barbeque or at the farm when you have a box of random fireworks or a random budget that the firework store put together for you. The anticipation and excitement and unknowing of what the firework is going to do is fun, especially when I've seen the firework/firework video and you haven't. What goes viral is random. What you do is great and we always look forward to the next CodyB video. Thanks for all you do.

I can't speek for everyone. For me it falls along the lines of. There are semi or professional shows all over the place. I can't relate to the "shows" as much as i can relate to the smaller hand lighting type videos. I came to your channel for relatability. As i saw you as i saw myself. The back yard guy who loves showing off cool fireworks to friends and family. Which is the same vibe I got from you. As we became part of your extended firework family. I still watch the show type videos just like I'll travel to watch shows in person. Watching you buy and show off different cakes, mortars, rockets, cans and all the cool fireworks that i can go buy myself with cool tricks of the trade and do the same thing but in my back yard is something I'll watch more so. With all that said. You're videos are all exceptional. Keep it up 🤙

I think people might get turned off by the crazy set up videos (professional display) because they don't relate to what they will be doing with their own fireworks when they get them. Another reason might be that their budgets aren't that high so why watch something that isn't attainable? Fireworks may also be seen by many as a once or twice a year thing that you spend a few hundred dollars on and move on, not so much as a year long hobby or a career possibility even. Anyways, great content guys I'm slowly getting back into my pyro mania and am slowly learning about how to kickass in my backyard displays thanks to your videos. I am a bit overwhelmed at times because there is so much to learn about not just the safety aspect of fireworks but also the new technologies available and techniques to do backyard displays.

Love how you break the shows down into sections and product being fired. I wonder on the noab shots if having a brass screw if they make those; or something similar, the exact length you need to hit the center of the tube would work. A little extra lift would cause a little more fire commotion in the tube too. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!

I personally love anything thats posted on this channel! Your videos never fail to raise my spirits, even on the worst days. Although, the low viewer numbers on videos like these could potentially be correlated to the run time of them. There are people like me who don’t much care that a video is 30-40 minutes cause it shows us valuable information and introspection in the setup process, interesting/relevant firework info, brief shenanigans and the show itself. BUT other people might be turned off by how slow paced that all turns out to be. I don’t think yall are doing anything wrong per se, so please don’t feel discouraged! Love love love this channel, keep up the good work.

Awesome show! The only reasons i could think of that people dont watch the show video's as much is because its not relateable for most people to achieve themselves. Maby for some people its too much information to process. Because alot like to watch things they can watch braindead/tired of the day. And for some reason long video's tend to do less good than shorter video's. I do like the show video's and you guys did a awesome job on this one 🎉. And like you sayd Cody the timing was VERY good! Nice display! I work part-time in a fireworks store during the few days it is allowed to sell fireworks here in Norway. I do larger and larger shows thanks to you! Because i know how now. Thank you very much!! 🙏I use the Ignite after you showed it on your channel btw😉 BUT! there is a BIG BUT here. 75% of the people bying fireworks from me usually have 1 to 3 cakes with them and a assortment with them leaving the store. So i think if you want views you should do more budget stuff. Mix ball shells with cool small cakes and assortments and other ground stuff. The regular family is not addicted to fireworks like some of us in here lol🙈

What's up Cody! I have a request for a new video from you... I've just gotten into doing my own and have been watching a lot of your videos trying to figure out what I like. Would you do a video for us "nubes" in which you demonstrate what the various terms mean? Like, I'm not really sure what a "brocade" is, and would best learn by seeing it. There's a lot of firework related language that is unfamiliar to people just getting into the hobby. If you could show us what the terms really mean (by shooting off a lot of cool fireworks) it would be really cool. Thanks, Jon from Vermont P.S. Love your channel! My kids and I watch you shoot off fireworks every day!

Cody I really enjoy all of your content alot, but being just a backyard bomber, I would like to see more content on doing shows with just consumer 200/500 gram cakes "off the shelf". I'm never going to be disassembling and customizing product, and I'm only using the Ignite system for cues and scripting. For me some of your most instructive have been in that vein - like the video on how to do a show on a single fuse. Also, more of the "on a budget" and assortment reviews would be great. All that said - GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!
