Both of my grandmas and one grandpa has had strokes. Unfortunately one of my grandmas didn't fully recover as she also had a brain tumor and the whole right side of her body stayed paralyzed and she couldn't do normal chores like cutting bread or open any containers. She also couldn't anymore produce nor write the words she was trying to say. People started treating her in a disgusting way like she would be brain dead even though she understood absolutely everything. She spent like this for 5 years before passing away. She was always smiling through the bad times, so I learnt to cherish every moment and not to take anything in life for granted. (I was 8 when she got sick)

Therapy was never offered for me when I had awesome insurance and it really set me back ALOT! Be your dad’s advocate and research, research, research! Thank you guys for talking about Chris's dad. My mom had a ministroke last week and I wouldn't have known what signs to look for if it weren't for this video, and for one of The Sip's past podcasts where Lizzie talked about the symptoms. I knew right away what was going on when my mom told me her symptoms and we were able to get her to the ER to get help, and she's doing fairly well overall, so thank you again for talking about it. I hope Chris's dad has a speedy recovery. ❤️

Ryland is stunning as Daphne wow! Also for Shane being as into cinema and T.V as he says he is, he seems to know very little sometimes about very popular trilogy’s and series.

Chris 😭😭 my heart goes out to you & your family. you got me crying as soon as you started talking about it. my mom had a brain aneurysm back in 2015 and just like your dad, had another stroke during the procedure of putting the coil in. my mom spent 27 days in the hospital. they told us she wasn’t going to make it, but she did. now she is able to walk, feed herself, do everything anyone else can do & people can never tell she’s had a stroke or aneurysm. hard things she’s good with, but sometimes she forgets how to open a door or write a number (26 is 206) but she has come a long way and i believe your dad will do the same. he will fight hard and persevere. just be there for him and be patient if he has hard times with things. you got this Chris! 💜 i’m so sorry you & your family are going through this

@@Shane2 OMG first thank you for replying to my comment you are literally one of my favorite people in the whole world 🤭🤭 second try LA first I would say for the fun of it and see how the turn out will be ( it’s gonna be super awesome i already know❤️😏) and definitely try other states in the US but Mexico like Cabo would be super dope. Love you guys and sending lots of love and prayers for Chris’ dad and family🫶🏼🫶🏼

My husband and I didn’t wait for marriage, but we were each other’s “first”. I feel like because we were both inexperienced, whenever we would want to try something different we figured it out together and it made it fun and made us a lot more comfortable with each other.
