Agree 100% on the flips flops. Learned my lesson years when I tore my toenail off. No flips flops for on riprap.

Jupiter is awesome ... You should have been here in the 1970's , 30lb Snooks were a common catch. My Brother and I caught a 6 foot tarpon when we were kids, the local newspaper put a photo up, I believe 1972 ish, Lost our photo some time ago. Big ( 500lb+ ) Sharks are seen in the River and around the Inlet, so be careful.

Nice day fishing, lots of different species. Tarpon are a blast! Don't know if you use fly gear or not, but hooking a 5 or 6 footer on a 12wt will definitely make your day.

@@williambenner701 for real! I caught bazillions of them around Sarasota growing up. And I used them for snook bait. The bait shops there sell (or sold, I moved years ago) pinfish. Nobody there was focused on croakers.
