All these complaints sorry some people don't have it made to eat gluten free, unprocessed foods, or a vegetable based diet daily. Some have to eat how they can, you should just be grateful for what you do have and try and bless others who may not have.

2 yrs ago I bought 500 cans of Green Giant vegetables at Krogers for .50 a can. They had a 1/2 off sale with no limits. That same can now is near 1.50.We just used the last can today.I wanted to buy more but my wife thought I was crazy at the time.I hope I can find a name brand veg sale again someday.

It's all cheap, and if cooked properly - delicious. My mouth watered at the thought of kraut and weenies. I would not only eat anything you cook, I would fry the leftovers up in bacon grease and serve it to my kids the next day. Good for you for making a video on how to really save money. Keep up the good work of taking care of your family, and doing what works for you guys. You have given me some ideas. God bless you. :)

Thanks for the spaghetti idea. Surprised you don't have rice and beans, eggs and oatmeal, chicken and rice on there or ramen noodles on there. I spend only $85 a month on food and it's really good nutrition and I can't eat it all. So glad God has blessed me and my life. Hopefully I can drive down my costs even more.

I think the point of her video is to show that you can make inexpensive meals, if you shop carefully. If what she has is to small for your family meal, then double the amount or triple it, but stay with the basics. If she takes a "One-a-Day" multiple vitamin, she shouldn't have a problem with the nutrition. Walmart's "Great Value" is their house brand & all of them are name-brand products. You find the "Great Value" next to it's name-brand product on the shelf.

One bag of mixed beans is 1.98. That can of ham $3.97 in 2019. This can serve one person many days. Make big meals and eat left overs. A pot of chili over spaghetti or rice is good. Cabbage bake is better.

I would like to add that a meal of these types of food as the entrée there is nothing all that wrong with...even most days if you do not have any specific health problems both of my grannies lived into their 90's eating that way & fried everything in Crisco lol, I would add more dollar tree frozen pkg veggies to each meal, if no diabetes I'd add fresh cheap potatoes to fill up on for bulk and to round it out, heck I get store brand 100 % wheat bread and lean beef bologna on it during real tough times...apples and oranges are also cheapish here in the usa anyway, I try now to do a quick cheap entrée with a frozen veg or two on the side and bag salad mix if it's bogo one canned thing one or two frozens and one fresh on a plate is what I do and my hubby and I eat for about 60 dollars a week and we are both healthy and get enough to fill us up! no kids in house tho! I think the take away here is the turkey meat...I find ya gotta cook that well done and of course adding onions and garlic to it helps it to taste yummier. Thanks for posting these tips...

are you saying you bought all that for just $10.00 or maybe you mean to say $10 for a meal? Perhaps I need to make note of each item and see just how much all that adds up to be. Looks like a lot more than $10.00 --- OK, I watched your video again and in my head I tried to keep track of the cost. At the end of the video I estimated you had to spend at least $20 for what is on the table and more for extra items you mention that are not on the table. I think you need to change the title of your video to something more realistic or just not put a dollar amount on it and just say for cheap.

I think it's a good choice if you are absolutely on a tight budget. But seeing all those canned foods makes me go "meh.." It really reminds me of cafeteria food actually. But I would prefer a way where more fresh vegetables are cut and put in, far less canned foods or processed meats, a better source of carbs like rice or potatoes rather than corn, a little bit more fiber so there is no gas/bloating after eating, and adding beans to supplement protein. I hope you are eating healthier than that Rhoda :) Rice and Asian stir-fry are probably one of the best options in my opinion. Borscht if you're into soup (very cheap to make) Keep up the good work!

Yeah the amount of salt in all those canned foods is really bad! (Sorry Rhoda). Even if you get a rotisserie chicken at Costco ($7.49 in my city, food is expensive here - even a raw frying chicken is usually at least $9), you can have 2 hot meals for 2 people, and then at least 2 sandwiches. Pick all the rest of the meat off of everything, boil the carcass & string & get a good stong chicken stock, which I usually freeze till I have enough or add it to other dishes to add flavour.

do u ever look at the salt in these foods I do cause I have to now for my boyfriend he is very sensitive to salt but we really have no idea how much salt we eat until u start looking at ever single piece of food that I have now had to do for over 3 years now and I am still learning everyday to make eating better for him but that 10 u just spend on all that I was about to spend that on over a weeks worth of veg. for him and at big y they had meat for b1g1 so that was all most a week for until 20 dollars for dinners but we also forget to talk about lunch and breakfast and how many we are feeding it would help understand better cause for mine was for 1 person 20 for one person for just dinner

Dimi GT It's NOT "nitpicking" to point out the in-congruence between her vid title and what is ACTUALLY in the vid. When those two things are not in alignment, how you can say "it was obvious or rather implied" is ridiculous. My guess is "most didn't comment" because they simply didn't bother.

It sounds as if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and have never had to do without.? Some folks have to live anyway they can to survive and I am glad this lady made this video and from the way she did it, her family gets to eat some mighty good meals for less. GODS Word tells us those who are now first, will be last and those who are last will be first. Those who are living without any cares will find themselves in a position where they can no longer get the things they are use to and those who have continued to love and obey GOD will survive as they have been doing it everyday! We are living in the last days. I pray everyone will take heed to what this lady showed you because the time is coming when money will be worth nothing and what you know will insure your family survives the coming storms. May GOD bless all who reads this and may GOD bless America and Israel!
