This game perfectly encapsulates the most important points of Agadmator-sutra . 1) b4 is more often than not the best move . 2) knights are tricky GAD's . Also , Wesley So is a gentleman 😊 .

I feel like I've witnessed skydiving chess. This is where two players jump out of a plane with a parachute and a magnetic chess board and pieces. They have to play chess in mid-air while falling at high speed. The game ends when one player checkmates the other, or when they have to open their parachute. The winner is the one who has more points, or who checkmates the other player before landing. ..

Physical chess clocks all had little red flags that would fall down when your time ran out. So winning by time is called flagging. If you win the game by time from a totally losing position, this is unsportsmanlike behavior.

The "entirely new position" is only at GM / very high level chess. He isn't checking against every single game. You're right that position has certainly been played before by someone.
