I had to figure out how to mate with double bishop in a blitz game 2 weeks ago, first time doing it and never learned how to do that. It's quite easy actually, two adjacent bishops make a diagonal uncrossable wall, so using your king you can force the opponent to get to a rim (waiting move with a bishop if you can't make progress with the king, and getting the "wall" closer whenever it doesn't allow opponent to cross) (rule of thumb : if your bishop move DOESN'T come with check, then the enemy king won't be able to cross). Then when the king is on the side, force them into a corner by keeping opposition and closing the wall when possible until only 2 squares remain. (Same deal : keep your king on the 3rd/6th/c/f rank and close the wall by NOT giving checks) Then, that's the only moment you need to think, do a waiting move if needed to have a position with your king on a3/a6/c1/c8/f1/f8/h3/h6, the enemy king NOT in the corner, bishop blocking the 3RD square (currently adjacent to the enemy king). Give a check to force king into the corner, then checkmate in the corner.
