sorry it's been a while but sometimes life just kicks your butt and there are not enough hours in the day!
This is a classic CREAM PUFF recipe. It's basically a choux pastry stuffed with goodies. You can use the choux recipe for eclairs and profiteroles as well.
I've filled these with Chantilly cream. You can stop there and just give them a dusting of icing sugar and be done. I've decided to ramp it up a bit and add Nutella and fresh strawberries but really the choice is yours.
They are light and delicious perfect for a spring/summer dessert.
Ingredients
Choux Pastry:
1/2 cup or 120ml water
1/2 cup 120ml milk
8tbsp or 115g butter
1 tsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup or 120g plain flour
4 eggs
Chantilly Cream
300ml double cream
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Nutella and strawberries, optional
1 tbsp powdered sugar
