Ingredients:
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 cup oil / Ghee
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 4 cups of water
- 5 green chilies
- 1 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 2 tablespoon coconut powder
- 1 teaspoon Achari masala
- 100 ml Full cream
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons ghee or butter
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
- Ginger, julienned (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
.Cooking the Mutton:
- Heat ghee or mustard oil in a karahi or large pan over medium heat.
- Add the mutton and salt to the karahi and cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
*Simmering:*
- Add water and ginger garlic paste, cover the karahi, and let the mutton cook in its own juices for about 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
*Creamy Touch:*
- Once the mutton is tender, add the yogurt and mix well.
- Add cumim powder, white pepper powder, black pepper, and green chilies. Cook for another 10 minutes on low heat.
- Now add milk and cream, and lower the flame .
Cook it for another 5 - 10 minutes
Final Touch:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger juliennes.
*Serve:*
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice, and lemon wedges on the side.
