Not since I’ve seen the results. It added so much dimension. By far my favorite white design this far.

Gotta have a little spray! Thank you for the fading out trick to soften the edges. That took it to the next level. Duh! Why haven’t I thought of doing that? 🤦🏼♀️

I wish I could see this in the sunlight and really see those colors pop. Its beautiful and I think my first piece will be very similar to this. Coffee table for my daughter and she loves opal. Mabey add some larger opal flakes. My mind is racing and I doubt ill get much sleep tonight.

Abalone is my fave glitter pigment! You can add the absolute tiniest bit and when it catches the light it’s so pretty or you can load it up for full sparkle!

I love it but I am always concerned when working with white about yellowing. I wish you could show some of your white boards made several months/years ago. I am planning to do 600 sq. ft. white marble floor and not sure how it is going to look later.

Great question! As you know ALL epoxy over time, will Amber. Period. Don’t let any brand tell you differently. We use Stonecoat , which has some of the highest UV protection on the market. Also we are very mindful where we install. We don’t do in areas that will get an abundance of direct sunlight. We will also use color additives that are proven not to react with the epoxy and “yellow” . We also like to add mica colors that already have an amber tone to them to sort of fool the eye. I’ve got tops that are 5 years old that look amazing. I always caution our customers and set expectations when they want bright whites.

This is exactly what I want!! When separating the product in the various cups, how much did you set aside for the abalone, the translucent titanium white, opaque white, and all the interference colors? Pretty much into quarters…? Or should I put more of one or the other mixtures aside? Thank you so much!! I’m super excited to get pouring!!

That is stunning!!! So beautiful. Would that be a good choice for a kitchen counter or do you suggest adding more color in the kitchen for durability?
@RK3Designs
2 жыл бұрын
That would be a great finish for a kitchen. You wouldn’t need more color, but I would put a clear flood coat and then roll on the Ultimate Top Coat for added durability.

Did you put anything on top? How do you keep this from yellowing and getting scratched?
@RK3Designs

All epoxy will amber over time. I use Stonecoat countertop epoxy which has some of the highest UV stable additives on the market. We also apply the Ultimate Top Coat, which also has UV protection and provides unbelievable protection and durability. 😊

This is the finish i am looking for in my kitchen. Could you list the color additives. Also i know you use art coat for uv, i have ck into polyaspartic could i put that over the top? For it's non yellowing.

I love your videos; but honestly I couldn't see any color or iridescence in this project, all I could see was white. I was excited to watch (I love iridescence) so I switched from the TV to my phone to try and see, but no luck. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing!

I’m wondering how this technique might look with light silver metallic color base instead of the white? Like a hammered silver but with an iridescent chrome mirror type granite effect??

So you want me to take every piece I do for these videos and take a picture of it in the sunlight. Have you ever tried to take a picture of an epoxy piece in the sun?? I’m here to give you ideas for YOU to try at home. I can’t show these pieces in every senecio you may be wanting to install in. Sorry, but again thanks for watching.

Question. Why yall use all this mumbo-jumbo talk explaining paint pouring.?? Listen everyone there's only a few techniques you need to know... and you don't have to go to paint college to learn.. the rest comes from your own individual technique- play. Have fun my friends. And please note. I'm not dogging the ladies it's just they try to make you feel it takes professionals.. So they can get your business..

I’m POSITIVE she’ll be back and pretty sure I won’t miss you if you aren’t. I hope it made you at least feel better to be an ass! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
